TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

2:49 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man driving a 1990s white Ford pickup went through mailboxes on Shaws Flat Road.

8:48 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man in a red work truck yelled at a woman for using her cellphone while driving.

12:24 p.m., animal complaints — Three large, aggressive dogs were seen at the old Sonora City Cemetery and kept a woman behind her fence until a ride showed up 30 minutes later.

12:27 p.m., accidental injury — A man called to report that he had accidental­ly hit a 4- or 5-year-old boy who was riding a skateboard in a parking lot on Mono Way. The parents told the officer that there was no collision, and that the boy had fallen off his skateboard on his own.

3:02 p.m., traffic violations — A citizen flagged down an officer to complain about the driver of a tan Jeep who continuall­y drives up an embankment and through a parking lot causing damage to sprinkler heads. The driver of the Jeep was contacted and said he wouldn’t do it again and would pay for damages.

3:35 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A homeless man walked through the Crossroads Shopping Center parking lot carrying a crowbar. When contacted by an officer, the man said his friend had discarded it and denied using it to gain access to anything. The man willingly gave the crowbar to the officer.

8:33 p.m., theft — A man took a speaker box from Walmart without paying.

SATURDAY

8:37 a.m., burglary — A shed was broken into at Hilltop Church on Stockton Road.

2:30 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man in his 40s wearing a maroon-andblue best looked into vehicles at the Timberhill­s Shopping Center on Mono Way.

4 p.m., assault — Two teenage boys fought at a Mono Way business.

5:34 p.m., animal complaints — A large gray-andwhite dog ran in and out of traffic on Mono Way.

SUNDAY

10:12 a.m., theft — An East Pasadena Avenue resident said a catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle during the night. A second report of a similar theft of a catalytic converter was reported at 1:58 p.m. from a Fairview Lane resident.

11:52 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Three people fought in the parking lot behind a Snell Street church.

1:20 p.m., theft — A Dusk Lane resident said a cover was stolen off her boat and the gas cap, and possibly fuel, was removed.

5:46 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A South Washington Street woman said a man tried to sell her property that she believes was stolen.

10:23 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man staying at a Stockton Road lodge said he thinks his vehicle was stolen around Thanksgivi­ng, but he wasn’t entirely sure. A beon-the-lookout was issued for the missing vehicle.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

12:33 a.m., Sonora — A woman drove off the road onto a Pelton Wheel Circle resident’s property and the woman’s truck was stuck.

1:31 a.m., Sonora — A Wards Ferry Road resident said a man wearing all black was in her driveway.

9:23 a.m., East Sonora — A black vehicle was parked in the back lot of a Hess Avenue hotel and covered by a tarp. The occupant of the vehicle refused to leave after being asked several times.

2:07 p.m., Sonora — A man punched his own dog in the face then threatened a person on Mount Brow Road.

3:14 p.m., Columbia — A Valley Quail Road caller said a black-and-white pit bull was attacking another dog on the road below hers.

3:18 p.m., Twain Harte — A person going from yard to yard on Broadhurst Drive asked a man to “come down” from where he was standing.

4:52 p.m., East Sonora — A person on Tuolumne Road said his he captured on video another person trying to break in and steal a service truck.

1:10 p.m., Sonora — Annalisa Puaolena Hanato, 24, of an unknown address, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of taking a vehicle without owner’s consent/vehicle theft, theft or extortion of a motor vehicle, bringing alcohol/ drugs/etc. Into a prison/jail/ etc., and misdemeano­rs possession of controlled substance parapherna­lia, possession of a narcotic controlled substance, and four warrants after an arrest on the 18000 block of Highway 108.

11:17 p.m., Twain Harte area — Clay Calvin Aho, 31, of the 23000 block of Highway 108, was booked on suspicion of violation of probation and misdemeano­rs possessing a controlled substance and possessing controlled substance parapherna­lia after an arrest on South Fork Road at Quaker Lane.

8:09 a.m., Valley Springs — Battery was reported on Hub Court.

10:49 a.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious person was reported on Main Street.

2:42 p.m., Valley Springs — People fought on Mittelman Court.

4:13 p.m., San Andreas — A suspicious person was reported on Church Hill Road.

4:14 p.m., San Andreas — A theft was reported on Pope Street.

10:14 p.m., San Andreas — A suspicious person was seen on Church Hill Road.

11:06 p.m., San Andreas — A suspicious person was seen on East St. Charles Street.

1:19 p.m., San Andreas — A theft was reported on Market Street.

1:55 p.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious person was seen on Main Street.

3:13 p.m., West Point — A battery was reported on West Point Pioneer Road.

9:40 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — Cruelty to animals was reported on Hawver Road.

1:23 p.m., West Point — A battery was reported on Smith Lane.

7:10 p.m., Wallace — A Sagebrush Court resident said someone was shining a laser into the house.
