The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
THURSDAY
7:29 a.m., sexual assault/ sexual offenses — A woman in the emergency room said she was sexually assaulted in the city limits on Tuesday night.
8:32 a.m., controlled substances — A student found a “crack pipe,” picked it up, and his fingers turned red on North Forest Road.
8:41 a.m., burglary — A shed that previously was burglarized was broken into again and doors were open on several trailers on city property on Southgate Drive.
11:13 a.m., burglary — Someone checked a video from a school and saw a man in a camouflage jacket, white cap, dark pants and work boots jump a fence and break into a dump truck on Greenley Road.
12:53 p.m., theft — A woman said she accidentally left her purse in a restroom of a store on Sanguinetti Road and a large amount of cash was stolen from it.
2:29 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man was in front of a South Stewart Street residence yelling at cars to slow down for more than 30 minutes.
2:34 p.m., lost, found property — Someone lost a set of keys on North Washington Street in the past last week.
3 p.m., theft — An elderly woman said mail has been stolen from her mailbox since November.
8:43 p.m., lost, found property — Someone found a needle in the restroom of a business on Mono Way.
10:53 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An employee at a business on Mono Way was afraid to leave because a man in a gray beard and gray hoodie came to the door at closing and “wasn’t making any sense.”

THURSDAY
12:58 a.m., Valley Springs — People working on a car made a lot of noise on Rose Street.
12:40 p.m., Copperopolis — Two people in vehicles yelled at each other on Spangler Lane.
1:48 p.m., Valley Springs — A disturbance occurred on Baldwin Lane and an arrest was made.
7:45 p.m., Burson — An explosion occurred on Burson Road.
