The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
TUESDAY
9:12 a.m., theft — A catalytic converter was stolen from a company vehicle at a business on Stockton Road.
9:48 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A driver for a business on Sanguinetti Road was harassed by a woman in a light colored SUV. The woman panhandled for money, the driver said he didn’t have cash and she offered him “white.” When the driver tried to leave, she blocked him with her vehicle.
3:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man in a black hoodie with a skull on the back, face mask, camo pants and brown boots did “Ninja type moves” with a machete and a knife at a business on Stockton Road. A white Cadillac pulled up and a backpack was handed to the man who ran down Stockton Road. An officer contacted the man who said the knife he had was used to spread mayonnaise on a sandwich and the machete was in a sheath.
3:11 p.m. trespass/loiter — Someone said a woman in a green turtleneck, black leggings with bleached hair with dark roots and a unleashed black dog loitered at a business and talked to people in cars on Stockton Road.
5:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An older man in a black leather jacket holding a grocery bag jumped in and out of traffic on Stockton Road.
5:07 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man under the influence of drugs brandished a firearm and threatened a woman on Greenley Road.
8:28 p.m., threats — A woman on Greenley Road received threats via social media concerning a court case scheduled for the next day.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
THURSDAY
9:46 a.m., Columbia — The driver of a white Chevy S-10 pickup dumped trash on a Gunsight Road property.
11:24 a.m., Jamestown — A Rolling Oaks Drive resident said a group of three strangers, including a skinny man who was missing teeth and a woman wearing fishnet stockings, a garter belt and black boots rang the doorbell and knocked on the door. The resident opened the door and told them to leave.
12:56 p.m., Jamestown — A bus driver said a man wearing all black was walking in the middle of the road on Peppermint Creek Road.
2:48 p.m., Twain Harte — A Woodwardia Road resident said a man driving an “older, beat-up” dark blue sedan drove onto the property about 7 a.m. and stole a hose. The man also attempted to steal a large decorative owl but was unsuccessful.
FRIDAY
2:40 a.m., Jamestown — People fought on Peppermint Circle.
10:04 a.m., Sonora — A Crystal Falls Drive West resident said a man with a backpack went onto property across the street.
12:05 p.m., Sonora — A man said someone stole car parts from his motorhome on Highway 108.
1:58 p.m., Sonora — A man and woman fought at a Blue Bell East child care center.
3:17 p.m., Sonora — A man wearing a dark down jacket with a hoodie was seen walking along Creekside Drive carrying a rifle or shotgun.
6:43 p.m., Groveland — Someone brandished a weapon at a Main Street cafe.
7 p.m., Groveland — Someone brandished a weapon at a Main Street market.
10:06 p.m. Jamestown — Vandalism occurred at a Chicken Ranch Road business.

7:28 a.m., Sugar Pine —Trevor James Freeman, 28, of the 20000 block of Hekeke Lane, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108.

3:55 p.m., Sonora — Chad Howard Vanhulzen, 45, of the 21600 block of Crystal Lake Drive, was booked on suspicion of rape by force/fear/ etc., kidnapping, false imprisonment, attempt to prevent/ dissuade victim/witness from reporting, oral copulation with force/fear/etc., after an arrest on Longeway Road at Crystal Falls Drive.
FRIDAY
3:25 p.m., Mi-wuk Village — Frederick Lee Guthmiller, 58, of the 24900 block of Highway 108, was booked on suspicion of vandalism and a misdemeanor battery charge after an arrest at his home.

2:05 a.m., San Andreas — A burglary occurred on East Saint Charles Street.
12:23 p.m., Copperopolis — An assault occurred on Chuckwagon Drive.
5:18 p.m., Wilseyville — An assault occurred on Jewell Court.
8:21 p.m. Arnold — A battery occurred on Pine Knoll Drive.
