The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:03 a.m., traffic accident — Someone said they were involved in a hit-and-run crash with a man with a beard in a pickup truck, and they chased him to get him to stop.the man drove off on Mono Way.

10:09 a.m., vandalism, property damage — Someone attempted to throw a rock through a window at a business on South Washington Street.

3:33 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman in a black baseball cap, yellow vest and gray jacket lay in front of the doors at different stores on Sanguinett­i Road and refused to leave when asked.

7:02 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man in his 20s in a red baseball cap, white tank top, and black backpack stole items from a business on Sanguinett­i Road and returned the next day. An employee told the man to leave and he became “hostile and aggressive” outside the store.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

5:59 a.m., Sonora — A woman acted “strange” in a silver sedan parked sideways on Mono Way.

9:23 a.m., Mi-wuk Village — Threats occurred on Lama Road.

10:24 a.m., Sonora — Harassment occurred on Cavalieri Road.

10:34 a.m., Twain harte — A burglary occurred on Fuller Road.

10:48 a.m., Jamestown — A man found a purse/backpack on Seco Street and Donovan Street.

11:16 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said she was taken advantage of by people and a neighbor went through her things in her trailer on Highway 108.

2:48 p.m., Strawberry — A man in a plaid shirt, green pants and hiking boots lay in the roadway on Highway 108 and Pinecrest Lake Road. He said he was tired and needed to lie down.

3:06 p.m., Groveland — A realtor went to post a for sale sign on a property on Second Garrotte Ridge Road and found squatters living there in a camp trailer.

3:14 p.m., Tuolumne — Threats occurred on Cedar Street.

6:26 p.m., Sonora — Fraud occurred on Belleview Drive.

6:52 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said the owner of a business asked them to leave and they wanted to press charges for assault at a business on Highway 108.

THURSDAY

9:31 a.m., Groveland — A theft occurred on Pine Mountain Road.

10:21 a.m., Jamestown — A burglary occurred on Tulloch Road.

12:45 p.m., Soulsbyvil­le — A fight was heard on a 911 call with an open line and someone mentioned having a baseball bat and a husband would “take care of it” on Soulsbyvil­le Road.

2:42 p.m., Sonora — A shed was burglarize­d at a business on Mono Way.

3:14 p.m., Jamestown — A man, a woman and a dog were in showers at a mobile home park on Highway 108 and refused to answer the door.

3:33 p.m., Sonora — Someone saw a man hit a woman in a silver Honda Civic on Mono Way and Highway 108.

3:43 p.m., Sonora — Threats occurred on Creekside Drive.

6:17 p.m., Tuolumne — A Cedar Street resident received death threats.

7:19 p.m., Soulsbyvil­le — A man with one shoe walked down the middle of the road on Willow Springs Drive.

8:43 p.m., Sonora — A man said his neighbor’s pit bull broke through his gate and attacked his dog and the dog died the following day on Poppy Hills Drive.

5:34 p.m., Valley Springs — Firearms were discharged on Garner Place.

8:27 p.m., Valley Springs — Firearms were discharged on Canoe Street and Chief Road.

11:47 p.m., San Andreas — People who were in vehicles on a West Murray Creek Road property were asked to move along.
