The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:44 a.m., lost, found property — A brown purse with no identifica­tion and a set oftoyota keys were found at a business on Mono Way.

9:59 a.m., animal complaint — Three people said they saw a mountain lion near a red dumpster on South Washington Street.

2:36 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A young woman in a black ball cap and blue-andwhite striped zip-up sweatshirt and a young man with a braid in an A’s ball cap and a camo Tshirt smoked a bong, charged their cell phones using power from a business and threw trash on Sylva Lane.

5:01 p.m., controlled substances — Someone found a syringe with a substance in it on South Washington Street. An officer picked it up and disposed of it on South Washington Street.

6:39 p.m., animal complaint — Someone saw a mountain lion on a hillside near South Washington Street.

8:05 p.m., animal complaints — Abrown pit bull barked and growled behind the library and would not let a woman exit her vehicle on Greenley Road.

8:42 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A man said someone slashed or cut a tire on his white Pontiac at a business on Sanguinett­i Road.

SATURDAY

11:49 a.m., trespass/loiter — Guests refused to leave a room at a business on South Washington Street.

3:03 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone said a man with long hair in a red hat and red shirt broke into vehicles with a tool at a business on Sanguinett­i Road. An officer determined that the vehicle the man was seen getting into belonged to a woman he was with.

8:05 p.m., traffic violation — Someone said six or seven vehicles revved their engines at California State Automobile Associatio­n on Sanguinett­i Road but the vehicles left before officers arrived.

SUNDAY

1:32 p.m., any civil problem — A woman said her landlord placed her and her son’s belongings outside without any notice or eviction on Shaw’s Flat Road.

5:45 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone said a man in the driver’s seat of a vehicle appeared intoxicate­d, argued with a woman who was a passenger and a girl he talked to took a bottle of alcohol out of the vehicle.

7:28 a.m., Columbia — A trespass occurred on North Airport Road and resulted in a criminal citation.

11:42 a.m., Sonora — A fight in a vehicle on Highway 108 and Stockton Road resulted in an arrest.

12:07 p.m., Sonora — An old wallet was found in bushes on Jamestown Road.

1:06 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone was drunk in public at Eproson Park on Meadow Drive, and an arrest was made.

1:41 p.m., Columbia — A burglary occurred on Italian Bar Road.

2:21 p.m., Sonora — A woman said a dark-haired woman in her early 20s stopped at her house on Old Sonora Columbia Road and asked her to “call the cops” and to send deputies to a house behind a business and then drove off in a blue Ford Taurus.

2:29 p.m., Mi-wuk Village —

A cat was stolen on Lama Road Tamalin.

2:39 p.m., Groveland — A man said a silver Nissan with a male driver and a female passenger “prayed at them” and said the “devil needs to be taken out of them,” recorded them with a cell phone and followed him and his wife for 15 minutes on Pine Mountain Drive and Crescent Way.

3:01 p.m., Columbia — A woman said her neighbor stole all of her things out of her filing cabinet over the last few weeks on Green Street.

6:07 p.m., Sonora — A bald eagle was injured on Lori Lane and Phoenix Road.

6:47 p.m., Columbia — A Damin Road residence was burglarize­d.

10:08 p.m., Sonora — An assault occurred at a business on Hess Avenue and an arrest was made.

SATURDAY

2:05 a.m., Groveland — An assault occurred at a business on Highway 120.

10:07 a.m., Groveland — A fight occurred on Powderhous­e Street.

10:07 a.m., Groveland — Vandalism occurred on Powderhous­e Street.

10:54 a.m., Jamestown — A man in his 50s in a tan jacket with a black bag tried to get into

a vacant home on Fifth Avenue.

12:27 p.m., Groveland — Vandalism occurred on Butler Way.

1:59 p.m., Pinecrest — Someone said several people walked on thin ice on the lake.

4:21 p.m., Pinecrest — A firefighte­r found a thin 2- to 3-yearold female husky with a tan harness wandering around the lake.

4:29 p.m., Jamestown — Miscellane­ous items were stolen on Railbed Road.

6:15 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone said a person lying down on blankets in a parking lot of a Tiffeni Drive church did not answer or move when the caller tried to determine if the person was OK.

6:29 p.m., Sonora — someone heard a gunshot on Leland Drive.

7:05 p.m., Columbia — A man threatened all of the other patrons at an establishm­ent on Main Street.

7:28 p.m., Columbia — A man said his truck was stolen on Gunsight Road.

9:59 a.m., Jamestown — A Railbed Road residence was burglarize­d.

11:07 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said her landlords came to her home, took photos of her children and the house, and the woman took out a pocket knife and threatened her dog on Wahine Drive.

11:40 a.m., La Grange — A woman said someone threatened to kill her at a business on Highway 132.

11:51 a.m., Sonora — Someone reported a theft on Lolly Lane.

3 p.m., Soulsbyvil­le — A man said mail was stolen from his mailbox on Soulsbyvil­le Road.

3:24 p.m., Sonora — A theft occurred on Blue Bell West.

3:24 p.m., Chinese Camp — A man about 25 years old standing 5’10” and weighing 150 pounds acted strange before disrobing and was seen running around naked and headed east toward the hills on Red Hills Road.

10 p.m., Sonora — Frank Mendes Melo, 49, of the 15000 block of Montgomery Road, Snelling, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 and Highway 49.

7:11 p.m., Tuolumne — Steven Dean Gray, 50, of the 19000 block of Evergreen Drive, Tuolumne, was booked for driving under the influence and driving without a license, following an arrest on Gerber Road and Ponderosa Way.

4:26 a.m., Groveland — Megan Taylor Wright, 25, of the 33000 block of Evergreen Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant after an arrest on Evergreen Road.

8:40 a.m., San Andreas — Weiren Huang, 48, of the 2000 block of Moro Road, was booked on suspicion of, keeping a place to sell a controlled substance, using a room to sell a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit a crime, plant/ etc., marijuana and possession of a large capacity magazine, after an arrest at his home.
