The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

10:06 a.m., public intoxicati­on — A man slept in front of a business on Pesce Way and was cited and released for public intoxicati­on.

10:58 a.m., fraudulent activities — A woman said she got a call from a foreignsou­nding man who said there was a warrant for her arrest for drug charges. She was but gave the man the last four digits of her Social Security number.

4:17 p.m., found property — Someone found a silver necklace in the parking lot of a business on Sanguinett­i Road and turned it in, saying they would like it back if no one claims it.

5:41 p.m., theft — A man said he took a shower and, when he got out of the shower, his wallet was gone in spite of the locked door at a motel on Stockton Road.

9:56 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman flagged down an officer and said a man attempted to steal alcohol from a Stockton Road business but returned it when she said she was going to call the police.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:42 a.m., Sonora — A suspicious vehicle check on Red Heather Drive and Dulce Road resulted in an arrest.

2:43 a.m., Jamestown — A theft occurred on Golf Links Road and Mckibbin Drive.

11:27 a.m., Sonora — An assault occurred on Lyons Bald Mountain Road.

12:13 p.m., Sonora — A trespass occurred on Serrano Road.

12:18 p.m., Columbia — A burglary occurred on Damin Road.

1:23 p.m., Sonora — A disgruntle­d customer threw salsa packets at a drive-through window at a business on Mono Way.

1:57 p.m., Columbia — Someone said they received a call from a man who had their stolen mail on Big Hill Road.

1:59 p.m., Jamestown — Vandalism occurred on Stent Cut-off Road.

2:13 p.m., Sonora — A man said he received a Fedex package, and an iphone was supposed to be in it on Mount Brow Road.

2:59 p.m., Sonora — Someone said their mailbox was knocked over and the tracks leading away went to the neighbor’s driveway on Fraguero Road.

4:33 p.m., Jamestown — Brandishin­g occurred on Jamestown Road.

5:55 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone was drunk in public on Carter Street.

7:14 p.m., Columbia — Someone said there was a trespasser at a business on Broadway Street.

7:39 p.m., Sonora — A suspicious vehicle check resulted in an arrest on Phoenix Lake Road and Bergel Road.

7:26 p.m., Jamestown — Lewis Chris Schwertfeg­er, 67, of the 18000 block of Highway 108, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108.

12:17 p.m., Avery — Vandalism occurred on Hunter Dam Road.

1:29 p.m., San Andreas — A suspicious person was seen on Treat Avenue, and an arrest was made.

8:44 p.m., Copperopol­is — Someone was intoxicate­d in public on Feather Drive.

11:24 p.m., San Andreas — A theft occurred on Lewis Avenue and Pope Street.
