The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:51 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — The male passenger of a vehicle got out and walked around a Sanguinett­i Road parking lot with an accordion and was believed to be under the influence of drugs. The female driver was slumped over the steering wheel.

12:42 p.m., public intoxicati­on — Medics were requested for a man who said he had glass in his feet on Mono Way. The man was arrested for public intoxicati­on.

2:30 p.m., trespass/loiter — A store employee said a man with orange hair, a white shirt with a red stripe and another man in a black T-shirt and red mask, previously trespassed from the store, were in the men’s department at a business on Sanguinett­i Road. An officer arrested one of the men on several charges.

5:06 p.m., theft — A crawl space was broken into and tools were stolen at a Cielo Vista Way property.

6:34 p.m. controlled substances — A man was “huffing spray paint” behind storage units at a business on Mono Way.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

Media representa­tives from the Sheriff’s Office are in training this week and will not send daily dispatch and booking logs until Thursday or Friday.

9:46 a.m., San Andreas — Vandalism occurred on West Saint Charles Street.

10:36 a.m., Avery — Vandalism occurred on Avery Sheep Ranch Road.

12:14 p.m., Murphys — Identity theft occurred on

Roaring Camp Road.

1:47 p.m., San Andreas — Fraud occurred on Mountain Ranch Road.

2:06 p.m., Dorrington — Fraud occurred on Karock Road.

4:38 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A verbal fight occurred on South Railroad Flat Road.

7:37 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was intoxicate­d in public on East Saint Charles Street.

10:57 p.m., Copperopol­is — A noise complaint occurred on Bay View Drive. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

11:21 p.m., West Point — Brett David Long, 52, of the 23000 block of Highway 26, West Point, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant after an arrest on Pioneer Road.
