TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:20 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man in black set up a camp and left trash in the area on a lot on Mono Way. The man packed up his belongings and left after an officer arrived.

10:22 a.m., controlled substances — Someone found drugs at a service station on Pesce Way.

10:52 a.m., theft — A man said a woman with red hair wearing a black sweater and camo leggings and carrying a black purse shoplifted from a business on South Washington Street, put an item in a vehicle and walked to Hospital Road.

11 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man at a business on South Washington Street said he thought he was beaten up and 12 boxes of baby clothes and items were taken from his vehicle, but he was too drunk to remember.

12:26 p.m., fire call — Someone said there was a fire that appeared to have been deliberate­ly set in the back of a business on South Washington Street.

1:25 p.m., weapons violations — A man said he saw a 20-year-old man wearing a white cap, red T-shirt and cargo pants take a black gun from a vehicle and put it in his belt. The man and another person went into a store on Sanguinett­i Road.

3:08 p.m., reckless driving — Someone said a woman in a vehicle with a large Raiders emblem on the back window passed them and tried to get them to run into the back of her vehicle several times on Mono Way.

8:08 p.m. vandalism, property damage — Three juveniles, all wearing shorts and hoodies, punched and kicked a dark green Toyota Tacoma on Mono Way.

9 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man and a woman caused a disturbanc­e and refused to leave an eatery on Sanguinett­i Road.

11:21 p.m., reckless driving — Someone said a woman in a black Mazda SUV with a temporary plate tailgated then passed them over double-yellow lines on South Washington Street. All the parties parked their vehicles and argued.

SATURDAY

11:29 a.m., vehicle theft — Someone on South Washington Street said they believed a teal-colored truck spray painted black and loaded with scrap metal was a stolen vehicle.they called back later and said someone was inside the vehicle and left in a Chevy Silverado with a trailer full of garbage.

11:06 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Someone said people played loudly in a park on Greenley Road. An officer contacted the people who had just finished playing a game of tag.

SUNDAY

1:57 a.m., assault — A man who had been assaulted would not provide informatio­n to emergency room staff on Greenley Road.

11:26 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone said a 4-year-old child in a green tank top and brown underwear was missing in a store on South Washington Street. They found the child, who had been hiding.

1:19 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman said protestors in Courthouse Square called her children “racists” as they drove by.

2:50 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Someone said a woman in a tank top and beanie pushed a shopping cart into the road and stood in the road and screamed on South Washington Street.

5:35 p.m., trespass/loiter — Someone said a tall man with brown hair in a green shirt, brown pants with a dark blanket threw rocks at vehicles near a business on South Washington Street.

6:05 p.m., public intoxicati­on — Someone said a “highly intoxicate­d” man in a black shirt and black pants sat on the steps of a South Washington Street business, refused to go to his room and tried to pull the alarm in a business. The man was arrested.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

5:53 a.m., Chinese Camp — Someone said two people in black walked in the roadway and argued on Sims Road near Highway 120.

6:09 a.m., Chinese Camp — A traffic collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred on Sims Road and Highway 120.

8:20 p.m., Sonora — Several items were taken from a business on Tuolumne Road.

8:26 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone called in about a suspicious vehicle on Mi Wu Street and Tuolumne Road North, and an arrest was made.

9:57 a.m., Sonora — Someone said there was a fire near a business on Guzzi Lane.

12:53 p.m., Sonora — A gray-haired man in glasses and black pants was drunk and falling down in the parking lot of a business on Mono Way.

1:12 p.m., Tuolumne — Gasoline was stolen on Maple Avenue.

1:39 p.m., Sonora — Someone said they saw a brown tent in the treeline of the open field at Cabezut and Greenley roads and they were concerned that someone set up an encampment.

3:46 p.m., Groveland — Several men and women shot a shotgun and walked into the woods near Highway 120 and Cherry Lake Road.

FRIDAY

1:08 a.m., Sonora — Someone said a burglary was in progress on Russian River Drive.

8:48 a.m., Sonora — Someone said they set a package on the porch for pickup by UPS and found that it had been set on fire on the porch on Rockridge Way.

2:55 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone said they were threatened on Cedar Street.

2:56 p.m., Chinese Camp — Someone said several people were “squatting” in the culde-sac on Shawmut Circle and Shawmut Road.

4:34 p.m., Sonora — Someone said they were threatened on Rockridge Way.

5:07 p.m., Sonora — Someone said a person in a black sedan followed children on bicycles on Crystal Falls Drive and Bear River Drive. It was determined that the person following the children was their grandmothe­r.

7:38 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said a man in a white T-shirt walked down the road and started fires on Highway 108 and Chabroulli­an Lane.

7:44 p.m., Sonora — Someone said they were threatened on Rockridge Way.

8:00 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said a burglary was in progress on Golf Links Road.

10:53 p.m., Mi-wuk Village — A fight occurred on Chief Fuller Way.

11:28 p.m., Sonora — Someone said their neighbors were in a fight on Harmony Way.

SATURDAY

12:08 a.m., Jamestown — Someone said a vehicle towed a trailer with a chain hanging and the chain was throwing sparks on Highway 108 and Rawhide Road.

10:59 a.m., Jamestown — An assault occurred at a medical facility on Chabroulli­an Lane.

11:28 p.m., Sonora — A man said his neighbor blocked his vehicle and wouldn’t let him out of his parking spot on Chukar Circle.

11:48 a.m., Jamestown — Someone said a woman dragged an SUV down the road with her truck on Jacksonvil­le Road and Algerine Road.

1:35 p.m. Groveland — An assault resulted in an arrest on Mount Jefferson Street.

2:13 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said two teens appeared to be “looking to jump off the bridge” on O’byrnes Ferry Road.

3:35 p.m., Long Barn — A man said his vehicle tires were vandalized on Highway 108.

5:29 p.m., Columbia — A theft occurred on Big Hill Road.

7:05 p.m., Turlock Lake — Someone said they were stuck on the lake on floaties and got pushed by the wind. The call was transferre­d to Stanislaus County who advised they would send a boat to get the people stuck on the lake.

9:02 p.m., Jamestown — Someone heard five gunshots near Golf Links Road and an arrest was made.

10:33 p.m., Sonora — A theft occurred at a residence on Racetrack Road.

1:11 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone was arrested for being drunk in public on Meadow Lane.

2:53 a.m., Twain Harte — A trespass occurred on Mount Elizabeth Drive.

6:01 a.m., Long Barn — A fight occurred and a residence was burglarize­d on Long Barn Road.

8:29 a.m., Columbia — A burglary occurred at a residence on Broadway Street.

6:16 p.m., Pinecrest — A trespass occurred on Dodge Ridge Road.

7:23 p.m., Sonora — Someone said an older man who had been trespassed before refused to leave a business on Longeway Road. He was arrested.

10:27 p.m., Sonora — An intoxicate­d woman walked in the middle of the road on Campo Seco Road.

12:08 p.m., Jamestown — Samantha Mary Good, 41, of the 18000 block of Seco Street, Jamestown, was booked with an additional misdemeano­r charge of driving on a license suspended for DUI and additional warrants after an arrest on Jacksonvil­le Road west of Algerine Road.

8:40 p.m., Columbia — Aaron George Khachigian, 49, of the 11000 block of Yankee Hill Road, Columbia, was booked after an arrest on Shaws Flat Road at Highway 49.

8:08 p.m., Sonora — Jose Manuel Arenas, 49, of the 100 block of Green Street, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Longeway Road near Crystal Falls Drive.

3:51 p.m., Columbia — Adam William Martin Gee, 33, of the 1000 block of State Street, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a narcotic substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, being a felon/addict/etc. in possession of a firearm and a misdemeano­r charge of resisting/delaying/ obstructin­g police/public officer/emergency tech and four outstandin­g warrants after an arrest on Shawmut Road and Shawmut Circle.

2:37 a.m., Twain Harte — Joseph David Guinn, 29,of the 18000 block of East Elm Avenue, Tuolumne, was booked on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age, felony violation of probation and double the sentence and impose an enhancemen­t for prior serious violent felony after an arrest on Fuller Road.
