The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:00 a.m., trespass/loiter — Someone was formally trespassed from a business on Old Wards Ferry Road.

9:03 p.m., lost, found property — Someone said a backpack was left in front of a business on North Washington Street. An officer collected it and booked it for safekeepin­g.

11:24 a.m., assault — A man said another man waved a torch in front of his face during an argument and it singed an eyebrow off on Mono Way.

cumstances — Someone said there was drug parapherna­lia on the sidewalk by a church on Snell Street.

12:48 p.m., trespass/loiter — Someone said a man in all black clothing and a bright red bandana brandished a small pocket knife after he was asked to leave a business on Old Wards Ferry Road.

2:22 p.m., unclassifi­ed — A woman said she and her mother were discrimina­ted against by the manager at a business on Sanguinett­i Road.

6:22 p.m., any civil problem — A woman at a business on Sanguinett­i Road said she received threatenin­g phone calls from a woman and her husband. The woman had been in the store earlier in the day with her mother, and they were asked to leave.

8:24 p.m., miscellane­ous codes — An officer noticed flickering lights in a security camera with a roof view and determined the source to be Tiki torches at a residence near the police department on South Green Street.

8:28 p.m., traffic violations — An off=duty California Highway Patrol officer said a man with blonde hair and a dark shirt jumped out in front of vehicles on Stockton Road.

9:09 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man in his late 20s, with dark hair, a short sleeved shirt and tattoos broke a glass in a drinking establishm­ent and pounded on the door and left before officers arrived on South Washington Street.

9:41 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man who caused a disturbanc­e on South Washington Street returned and a woman in the establishm­ent said the man attempted sexual assault her at an earlier time.

9:54 p.m., hazardous situation — Large chunks of leftover concrete were in the road on Snell Street and were moved prior to an officer’s arrival.

9:27 a.m., Groveland — Threats occurred at a business on Highway 120.

9:46 a.m., Mi-wuk Village — Someone said $800 was fraudulent­ly taken from their account on L Street.

10:25 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone heard two gunshots on Birch Street and Woolworth Avenue.

11:19 a.m., Tuolumne — Threats occurred at a high school on Tuolumne Road.

11:38 a.m., Jamestown — Someone said an ex-tenant continued to harass them on App Street and Jacksonvil­le Road.

12:23 p.m., Sonora — Someone said fraud occurred at a mobile home park on Big Hill Road.

1:25 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said a blonde man in a black shirt acted strange and tried to take a woman’s belongings on Smoke Street.

2:05 p.m., Sonora — Someone said a man got new tires at a business on Standard Road and left without paying for them.

3:22 p.m., Columbia — Someone said they saw a young, barefoot woman run quickly into the woods on Woods Creek Way.

4:39 p.m., Sonora — A man said a man and a woman with shovels were at his mining claim on BLM land on Jackass Hill and Highway 49.

4:43 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said two men fought in a small, gray vehicle and a woman took a video of the fight on Rawhide Road.

4:54 p.m., Columbia — An assault with a deadly weapon, described as a vehicle versus a pedestrian, occurred on Main Street.

5:30 p.m., Jamestown — A sexual assault occurred at a business on Chabroulli­an Lane.

5:46 p.m., Sonora — Someone said a person in a white Ford F250 dumped a boat in the middle of the road on Columbia Way.

6:23 p.m., Columbia — A trespass occurred on Yankee Hill Road.

9:13 p.m., Sonora — Two men cut the fence at PG&E and were arrested on Tuolumne Road.

12:49 a.m., Sonora — Kassidi Joanne James, 22, of the 100 block of Dogtown Road, Altaville, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way.

1:47 p.m., Jamestown — John Anthony Hosek, 45, of the 10000 block of Peppermint Creek, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of obstructin­g/resisting an executive officer with threats of violence and battery on a peace officer after an arrest at Rocca Park.

10:26 p.m., Sonora — Bethanie Robin Smith, 36, of the 800 block of Third Street, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a tear gas/pepper spray device and a misdemeano­r charge of possession of a controlled substance, after an arrest on Tuolumne Road and Eagle Ridge.

5:28 a.m., San Andreas — A burglary occurred on East Saint Charles Street.

11:19 a.m., Burson — A theft occurred on Raindance Road.

5:40 p.m., Copperopol­is — A disturbanc­e resulted in an arrest on Buckboard Drive.

9:17 p.m., Burson — A trespass occurred on Stedman Ranch Road.
