TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

6:02 a.m., threats — Someone wrote a death threat with chalk in front of the Tuolumne County Public Defender’s office on North Washington Street.

7:42 a.m., theft — Copper was stolen from a business on Stockton Road, and the owner saw the suspect on video.

8:25 a.m., graffiti — The number “12” was painted by the door near Tuolumne County Superior Court on North Washington Street.

9:36 a.m., graffiti — Graffiti was written in chalk at the entrance to the courthouse on Yaney Avenue.

10:23 a.m., trespass/loiter — Someone set up a camp between two businesses on Mono Way.

11:45 a.m., animal complaints — A man said a feral cat came to his porch and windowsill and it got inside and threatened his cats on South Shepherd Street.

2:53 p.m., theft — Someone said a package was stolen from a porch on Alpine Lane, and they showed an officer a video of the theft.

4:00 p.m., lost, found property — A woman said she lost a black fanny pack somewhere between a gas station on Highway 49 and Murphys.

5:01 p.m., traffic accident — Someone on South Washington Street said a white Ford pickup “hit them pretty hard,” initially started to pull over, then pulled out into traffic and headed toward Columbia.

5:17 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman approached a man at a business on Sanguinett­i Road and yelled that he was a child molester. She was cited and released.

7:45 p.m., assault — A man said he was assaulted during the night behind a business on Sanguinett­i Road and medics transporte­d him to the hospital.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

6:14 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone found a coin purse with drugs inside at a business on Tuolumne Road North.

8:01 p.m., Sonora — Someone said a man acted strangely, was “jerking around” and tried to get out of his car for 10 minutes, then went in to use the restroom at a business on Soulsbyvil­le Road.

10:26 a.m., Mi-wuk Village — A blond man in a black shirt, blue jeans with a backpack staggered in the roadway at Lama and Kome roads.

10:50 a.m., Jamestown — A Jamestown Road resident said their landlord harassed and swung a hammer at them.

11:50 a.m., Soulsbyvil­le — Tools were stolen from the cab of a truck on Soulsbyvil­le Road.

3:57 p.m.,, Moccasin — A window was pried open at a dry storage at Lake Don Pedro and lights were taken from a boat.

Jacob Daniel Burk, 28, of the 20000 block of Ponderosa Way, Soulsbyvil­le, was booked on suspicion of firstdegre­e robbery and additional misdemeano­r charges of battery and violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence, after an arrest at his home.

10:30 a.m., Sonora — David Robert Luque, 34, address unknown, was booked on suspicion of receiving known stolen property after an arrest while in custody at the Dambacher Detention Center on Justice Center Drive.

7:48 p.m., Jamestown — Daniel Azy Fraser, 62, of the 17000 block of Stent Cut Off Road, was booked on suspicion of force or assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm with great bodily injury likely, battery with serious bodily injury, attempt to commit a specific crime, and threatenin­g a crime with intent to terrorize, after an arrest on the 17000 block of Jacksonvil­le Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:55 a.m., Rail Road Flat — An arrest was made while responding to a disturbanc­e on Ridge Road.

2:06 p.m., Valley Springs — Suspicious circumstan­ces led to an arrest on Highway 26.

9:53 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — Randall Dean Devincenzi, 55, of the 1000 block of Ridge Road, was booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a prohibited person in possession of ammunition, threatenin­g a crime with intent to terrorize, misdemeano­r charges of selling firearms without a license, willfully dischargin­g a firearm in a grossly negligent manner, possession of a large capacity magazine (infraction) and a warrant for driving with a license suspended for DUI, after an arrest at his home.

2:47 p.m., Valley Springs — Josclyn Diane Billingsly, 36, of the 700 block of Central Avenue, Lodi, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance without a prescripti­on and misdemeano­r charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of unlawful parapherna­lia, identity theft, three felony warrants and a misdemeano­r warrant, after an arrest at a business on Highway 26.
