The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:08 p.m., lost, found property — A damaged cell phone was found on Pesce Way.

12:20 p.m., unclassifi­ed — A man with dark hair, dark shorts and heavy shoes slept near the stairwell on the second floor of the parking garage on North Washington Street.

6:12 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone on Mono Way found a 20-ounce soda bottle that contained a dark liquid and had a piece of camouflage cloth wadded up into a ball on top, with wires and a white connector taped to the bottom. Officers determined the item was trash.

7:55 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man made inappropri­ate comments to customers and caused a disturbanc­e at a business on Sanguinett­i Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:56 a.m., Jamestown — Someone said there was a dead deer in their neighbor’s garage on Railbed Road.

12:16 p.m., Columbia — A window was broken on a vehicle, which was egged, at a mobile home park on Wards Ferry Road.

3:00 p.m., Sonora — A woman was intoxicate­d at a grocery store on Mono Way.

3:14 p.m., Sonora — A woman said all of her clothes and her Prada purses were taken at a saloon on Highway 49.
