TUOLUMNE COUNTY
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
THURSDAY
7:02 a.m., controlled substances — An employee at a store on Sanguinetti Road said a man in black clothes and a baseball cap stole a bottle of liquor.
8:27 a.m., trespass/loiter — A Hillcrest Drive resident said a man was lying in their camper van without permission, and there was a strong odor of alcohol. He was arrested and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing.
9:24 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone said a man purchased raw meat at a business on Stockton Road and commented that he “couldn’t wait to eat someone’s face off.”
2:10 p.m., Trespass/loiter — A previously trespassed woman returned to a clothing store on Sanguinetti Road, was verbally aggressive and attempted to hit an employee. She was arrested and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing.
5:11 p.m., theft — An exotic plant was stolen from a business on Highway 49.
10:36 p.m., municipal code violations — Multiple people called about fireworks seen near Cemetery Lane.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
THURSDAY
8:55 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone found money on the ground at Carter Street and Baker Avenue.
11:47 a.m., Sonora — A black sedan with tinted windows trespassed on property on Outback Trail.

4:13 p.m., East Sonora — Jeffrey George Norstrom, 53, of the 19000 block of Soulsbyville Road, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way.
Felony bookings
THURSDAY
10:15 p.m., Sonora — Sayonna Lavawn Berrie, 45, of the 19000 block of El Ray Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance and multiple misdemeanor warrants after an arrest on Mono Way.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
THURSDAY
9:21 a.m., Arnold — A person slept outside on Highway 4.
12:23 a.m., Jenny Lind — Someone said men cut trees on their property on Southworth Road.
