The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

7:33 a.m., animal complaints — A possum found inside a Mono Way business was trapped and released back into the wild.

10:41 a.m., warrant arrests — A man who used a spigot to a sprinkler system as a shower at a Sanguinett­i Road business was arrested on outstandin­g warrants.

11:01 a.m., driving under the influence — A woman wearing a peach or pink dress or overcoat hit several parked cars with her vehicle while leaving a Greenley Road health care facility, then left the scene. A be on the lookout was issued and, 34 minutes later, a CHP officer said a woman matching the descriptio­n ran into a tree at Rawhide and Pulpit Rock roads. She was transporte­d to the hospital.

12:26 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man dumped a “couple hundred pounds of Whip-it cartridges” into a garbage container at a Mono Way car wash. The caller said the same man in the same vehicle had done it once before.

7:56 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A tattooed man wearing a black T-shirt followed a young girl around a Mono Way store, and asked a woman in a dressing room if she “needed any assistance.” The man was gone when officers arrived.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:36 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone egged a vehicle parked on Ponderosa Way during the night.

1:13 p.m., Jamestown — Someone was assaulted on French Flat Road.

2:43 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller said people were sleeping on the stage and in the playground at Eproson Park.

3:16 p.m., Sonora — A woman said she went to a Mono Way business to pick up parts her husband had left there and was “shoved” out the front door by a woman who worked there after being told they were short staffed.

5:05 p.m., Tuolumne — Several men and women fought at a Pine Street park.

5:38 p.m., East Sonora — A man with a shaved head, black shirt, blue jeans and no shoes dodged traffic as he walked up Highway 108.

11:22 p.m., Jamestown area — Steven Craig Carpenter Witherspoo­n, 60, of the 31000 block of Mather Road, Groveland, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Highway 108.

7:09 p.m., Twain Harte — Nicholai Glenn Graham, 18, address unavailabl­e, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury, infliction of corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant/child’s parent and false imprisonme­nt after an arrest on the 17000 block oftowhee Lane.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

10:25 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone trespassed at a Robinwood Place property.
