The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:23 a.m., pedestrian/ve

hicle checks — A person who plugged an extension cord into a Snell Street church was admonished for stealing utilities.

11:27 a.m., lost/found property — A man lost his wallet somewhere between a South

Washington Street gas station and Sonora High School.

11:41 a.m., animal complaints — A caller said there was a pit bull loose on Snell Street near Schools Street.

5:33 p.m., animal complaints — A large black dog was loose on Hospital Road.

6:01 p.m., embezzleme­nt — An employee was arrested for embezzleme­nt at a South Washington Street business.

6:22 p.m., assault — A man driving a red Dodge dually with a toolbox in the back assaulted and broke the nose of another man who was trying to pull up to a pump at a South Washington Street gas station.

6:34 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A person followed a fire engine to the Sonora Fire Department and walked around looking into the windows and acting irrational­ly.

8:43 p.m., threats — A man called several times to say he was going to “shoot up” a Greenley Road medical facility.

9:10 p.m., animal complaints — A Hospital Road resident said a large tan-and-black dog with a dark brown collar looked hungry and was running through parking lots.

7:26 a.m., Sonora area — A Fraguero Road property was robbed.

10:24 a.m., Mi-wuk Village — A Lama Road resident said a neighbor’s dog was “going after” her chickens.

10:50 a.m., Jamestown — A person asked to speak with a deputy about a homeless person living under a bench near the children’s playground at Rocca Park on Main Street.

12:16 p.m, Tuolumne — A Main Street residence was burglarize­d.

12:21 p.m., Twain Harte — A chain saw was stolen from a tree service working at Sugar Pine RV Park on Highway 108.

1:18 p.m., Jamestown — Someone threw paint all over wood and tile floors at a rental property on Seco Street.

2:57 p.m., county line — Multiple calls were received for a fire on Parrotts Ferry Road.

3:12 p.m., Columbia — A man said he was on Big Hill at 1:15 p.m. and saw two all-white cargo vans with no plates driven by people who both had full face masks and hoods.

6:36 p.m., Jamestown — A Rawhide Road resident found a bluish or black bicycle near his mailbox.

7:21 p.m., Soulsbyvil­le — A man wearing a white mask, brown socks and black shoes riding a manual push scooter yelled at a resident of a mobile home park on Allison Way. The caller said the man had assaulted her husband a week ago and “keeps coming back to the park and causing problems.”

10:44 p.m., Sonora area — A woman who keeps her horses on a Kincaid Flat road property said there were a “bunch of people” and someone yelling at the site, and she was worried they would let her horses out.

10:45 p.m., Jamestown — Someone was arrested after a fight at apartments on Seco Street.

11 p.m., Twain Harte — An Ontario Drive man said he was looking at Mount Elizabeth and saw “something in the sky with lots of lights changing color,” and the object hadn’t moved in 10 minutes.

11:58 p.m., Soulsbyvil­le — Someone was arrested after a fight at a mobile home park on Allison Way.

Dale Coyle, 28, of the 500 block of Gardner Lane, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of embezzleme­nt of more than $400 after an arrest at a South Washington Street business.

6:36 p.m., Sonora — Thomas Daniel Markey, 41, of the 500 block of South Washington Street, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury after an arrest at a South Washington Street business.

3:07 p.m., Sonora — Douglas Alan Yates, 40, of the 17000 block of Lime Kiln Road, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury after an arrest on Justice Center Drive.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

9:38 a.m., Burson — A Burson Road property was vandalized.

10:55 a.m., Arnold — A theft occurred at a Dawyn Drive property.

6:19 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone trespassed at a Dunn Road property.

6:50 p.m., Valley Springs — Battery occurred on Hogan Dam Road.
