Faith Rae Brewer

1939 - 2021

Longtime Sonora resident Faith Rae Brewer passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 81. She went peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Kentucky, Faith lived in Sonora for the past 32 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing games, and often you would find her reading. She also enjoyed listening to music, arts and crafts activities, flower bouquets, and being outdoors in gardens and nature.

Faith is survived by her children, Lee Apple, of San Francisco, Rana Ford, of Sonora, and Dione Badkar, of Los Angeles; grandchildren Sarah Alexander, Alyssa Dedmon, Jared Ford, Micah Omura, Devin Badkar and Dilani Badkar; and greatgrandchildren Rylee and Xander Dedmon. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Arthur and Amy Brewer.

Private family services were held.

ECKSTEIN- CRABTREE — Leigh Elizabeth Eckstein-crabtree, 51, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, at her home in Sonora. Cremation is planned, and inurnment will be at Carter’s Cemetery in Tuolumne. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling cremation arrangements.

HEMBREE — Phyllis Claire Hembree, 90, died Saturday, Aug. 28, at her home in Jamestown. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling cremation arrangements.

SERPA — Janette M. Serpa, 94, of Jamestown, died Friday, Aug. 27, at Avalon Care Center in San Andreas. A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 4, at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, 225 E. Rose at Lyons Street in Sonora. Private burial will be at Carter’s Cemetery in Tuolumne. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
