TUOLUMNE COUNTY
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
TUESDAY
1:10 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A Tuolumne County Sheriff’s deputy saw a man and a woman crouched down in bushes on North Washington Street. They were gone upon an officer’s arrival.
10:02 a.m., animal complaints — Someone said a German shepherd jumped out of a parked vehicle’s window and was still on a leash on South Stewart Street.
11:50 a.m., unclassified — A man who was getting a lift by a contract driver from Stockton to Lower Sunset Drive jumped out of the vehicle on South Washington Street and went to the police department to ask for a ride to court.
4:48 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A South Sonora Avenue woman said a man with a light complexion wearing a red ball cap and plaid shirt came to her door and said he “felt energy coming from her house.” She asked him to step off of the porch.
5:42 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A vehicle towing a red car threw sparks. An officer located the driver at a service station on Pesce Way, and the driver fixed a chain that was dragging.
5:57 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man said he heard men yell and saw two men “rolling” around in the weeds on Hospital Road.
6:15 p.m., theft — A woman said her husband’s wallet was stolen at a business on Sanguinetti Road, and a very large amount was charged at a drugstore.
7:54 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman said she heard a man scream and yell on North Stewart Street. An officer found the man and advised him to go to sleep.
10:56 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A man said someone drove up in a black BMW sedan and threw a rock through his girlfriend’s apartment window on Greenley Road.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
TUESDAY
1:06 a.m., Sonora — An Elizabeth Lane resident heard gunshots and car doors slam on their 17.5 acre property. When checking for the source of the noise, they found an empty gas can and a lighter.
6:30 a.m., Jamestown — A black Honda Pilot was stolen while its owner was inside a Highway 108 gas station.
7:14 p.m., Sonora — Someone said a rolling cart near a bus stop on Hillsdale Drive looked suspicious.
9:15 a.m., La Grange — A catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle while it was parked near a boat launch on Bonds Flat Road.
2:03 p.m., Sonora — Multiple calls were received for a fire on Campo Seco Road.
2:07 p.m., Sonora — Multiple calls were received for a vehicle fire on Highway 108 at South Washington Street.
2:21 p.m., Columbia — A shirtless man with a lot of tattoos walked on a Horseshoe Bend Road property.
3:42 p.m. Sonora — Utilities were stolen from a business on Highway 49.
4:41 p.m., Soulsbyville — A toddler talked about “pepperoni” on a 911 call from Armario Road.
5:22 p.m., La Grange — A call for service came from a boat with eight people, aged 17-83, that was out of gas and on the rocks near Graveyard Creek.
9:15 p.m., Sonora — Road rage occurred on Highway 108 and Soulsbyville Road.
9:18 p.m., Mi-wuk Village — Rolling road rage occurred on Middlecamp
Sugarpine Road.
10:12 p.m., Sonora — A wallet was stolen on Buckthorn Mountain Road.

12:43 p.m., Sonora — Joseph Frank Pineda Pimentel, 37, of the 100 block of Springtime Avenue, Manteca, was booked on suspicion of rape by force/fear/ etc. after an arrest on Greenley Road.
CALAVERAS COUNTY
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
TUESDAY
7:16 a.m., San Andreas — A check on a suspicious vehicle led to an arrest on Hawver Road.
8:24 a.m., San Andreas — A report was taken for a health and safety code violation on High School Street.
10:43 p.m., Valley Springs — Grand theft occurred on Hartvickson Lane.
4:10 p.m., San Andreas — Suspicious activity led to an arrest on Robert and Lewis Avenue.
7:59 p.m., San Andreas — A report was taken for vandalism to a property on Court Street.
