The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

2:53 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A blonde woman in a black tube top held a drink, screamed and banged on the window of a Stockton Road business. An officer conducted a probation search and asked her to leave the area.

8:51 a.m., trespass/loiter — Someone at a Mono Way business asked to have a man trespassed.

8:58 a.m., theft — A catalytic converter was stolen on Summit Avenue.

9:44 a.m., fraudulent activities — A report was taken for a counterfei­t bill at a Mono Way business.

12:01 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Officers contacted a man who was down on the side of the road on Mono Way, and he told them he was “just resting.”

2:48 p.m., trespass/loiter — A trespass notice and ceaseand-desist order were issued to a man who harassed someone at two businesses on South Washington Street.

7:04 p.m., theft — An employee of a Mono Way business said a man in a red shirt and black shorts attempted to steal products while a silver vehicle waited for him.

10:15 p.m., theft — A woman said the catalytic converter was taken off her silver Honda Accord, and there was a camera above where the car was parked on South Washington Street.

TUESDAY

9 a.m., Sonora — Someone

said their roommate threatened to kill them early in the morning on Lakeside Drive.

9:35 a.m., East Sonora — Mail was stolen at a mobile home park on Mono Way.

10;03 a.m., East Sonora — Fraud was committed against a business on Micro-tronics Way.

10:36 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone said a neighbor ran CAT5 wire through their property on Brown Court.

10:38 a.m., Jamestown — A woman was arrested after trying to get inside a Highway 108 coffee shop through a window and door.

11:16 a.m., Groveland — Someone lost a laptop computer at a business on Main Street.

11:25 a.m., Mariposa County — A man said two mountain lions were lying under his car and stalking his cats on Buck Meadows Road.

1:35 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone said a man sat on the front porch of their family home on Twain Harte Drive.

2:18 p.m., Twain Harte — A person was arrested on Tiffeni Drive for being drunk in public..

4:18 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said that when he returned to his home on Twain Harte Drive, it was occupied by someone else.

4:55 p.m., Jamestown — A large, 65-gallon drum was left on the side of Peoria Flat Road.

5:58 p.m., Sonora — Someone said a heavyset man with a bandana on his face stole “a lot of Dewalt tools” and left in a grayish, older model two-door sedan dragging an orange screen with its trunk tied down with a rope on Mono Way.

6:05 p.m., Sonora — A man was locked inside of a room at a business on Yaney Avenue.

9:44 p.m., Jamestown — Someone requested a patrol check for a vehicle with a loud muffler and spot lights on it that drove slowly and shone lights in the area of Lone Bend and Twist roads.

2:44 A.M., Sonora — Daniel Curtis Vavra, 35, of the 4000 block of North Adams Street, Spokane, WA, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way.

10:49 a.m., Twain Harte — Ciara Fern Escobar, 24, of the 22000 block of Middle Camp Road, was booked after an arrest on Fuller Road.

11:05 p.m., Sonora — Cody James Guzman, 30, of the 400 block of South Conejo Avenue, Modesto, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way.

7:18 p.m., East Sonora —

Noah Eric Scott Kolpack Jr., 21, address unknown, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm likely to cause great bodily injury, after an arrest at a mobile home park on Mono Way.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

5:07 a.m., Paloma — Multiple calls occurred for a suspicious looking tow truck with a car on the back that was parked up against a bank on Main Street.

8:55 a.m., San Andreas — A citation was issued for a suspicious vehicle on Highway 49.

9:30 a.m., Angels Camp — An unhappy client caused a disturbanc­e at a business on Deer Creek Drive.

9:38 a.m., Valley Springs — A woman who appeared to be under the influence walked in the area of Heinemann Drive and Holmquist Lane.

10:35 a.m., San Andreas — A citation was issued for an altercatio­n that was caught on camera on High School Street.

10:52 a.m., Murphys — Items were taken during an evacuation on Butte Mountain Road.

11:00 a.m., Rail Road Flat — Someone said their evicted tenants came back because they saw their dog in the house on North Railroad Flat Road.

1:15 p.m. West Point — Items were stolen from a locked vehicle that was broken into on Higdon Spink Cutoff Road.
