To the Editor:

Let's recap some of what has happened in the past two weeks — it is overwhelming. Many of you don't get the truth — only the big lie and more lies. So let me get some truth to you.

First and foremost for California is that you voted to retain our hard working and gifted governor — Gavin Newsom. Make no mistake, like the Jan. 6 attack on our nation's Capitol, this recall was part of the Grand Qanon Party (GQP) coup master plan.

COVID — California was given the best report in America for having the lowest per capita rate of infection.the bad news is Tuolumne County was ranked the worst for our highest infection rate for any county in America with a population of 100,000 or less. More deaths in Tuolumne County and again, over 2,000 Americans dying daily.

Immigration — The GQP wants to give this issue as much “air time” as they can to deflect attention away from the fact that they have nothing to offer. The last time any politician got anything done was when Ronald Reagan — to save our nation's ag business — gave amnesty to millions of immigrants.

I am running out of words (300) and have not even gotten to vital things like the recent release of the Woodward and Costa book “Peril”. If you want to rid America of the lies and liars — you must read this book — then you have to vote.

Bottom line — the little big lie — the Sept. 18 “freedom rally.” When it was obvious that it was doomed to fail, which it did, the GQP hustled and pulled one of their “bait and switch” super spreaders.

Thanks to law enforcement and our national security agencies for squelching further riots (for now).
