The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

7:34 a.m., traffic accident — The back wheel came off of a passenger vehicle on Shaws Flat Road and collided with a parked vehicle, causing minor damage.

9:05 p.m., vehicle theft — A vehicle was stolen on West Sunset Street.

1:35 p.m., traffic accident — A woman said her red Subaru Forester was hit while she shopped at a business on Sanguinett­i Road.

3:42 p.m., unclassifi­ed — A report was taken for found property that was sold to a business on Stockton Road.

5:16 p.m., trespass/loiter — A previously trespassed man stole a bag of chips from a business on Old Wards Ferry Road. The business did not want to press charges, but wanted the chips back.

5:46 p.m., controlled substances — A man was asked to leave a store on Sanguinett­i Road after he tripped over items. He did not comply and was arrested.

8:55 p.m., weapons violations — Someone said they heard “five shots … coming from the Columbia Way area.”

8:57 p.m.., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man on Sanguinett­i Road said someone moved objects from the tarped bed of his truck onto his windshield, and he was unsure if it was a prank or a threat.

8:20 p.m., pedestrian, vehicle check — Two people were warned not to use the water at a business on South Washington Street.

11:27 p.m., trespass/loiter — Two men, who were in a physical fight, were separated and formally trespassed from the business on South Washington Street.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:21a.m., Long Barn — Someone said there were “awful sounds coming from the neighbor’s house” on Lariat Loop Drive.

1:35 p.m., Sonora— Someone said people lived in an RV for two or three days at an eatery on Mono Way.

1:37 p.m., Soulsbyvil­le — A report was taken for an assault on Timothy Drive.

2:49 p.m., Columbia — A woman said someone cut a hole in her property on Porcina Way.

3:16 p.m., Strawberry — A burglary occurred at a campground at Highway 108 and Clarks Fork Road.

4:21 p.m., Long Barn — Someone said a man and a woman fought in a white Honda Accord and the woman threw rocks at vehicles and “screamed at them also” at

Highway 108 and Reservoir Road.

11:45 p.m., Tuolumne — A verbal fight led to an arrest at a business on Tuolumne Road North.

1:07 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was publicly intoxicate­d on West Saint Charles Street.

2:45 p.m., Wallace — A report was taken for trespassin­g on Haskell Street.

4:09 p.m., Valley Springs — A report was taken for a disturbanc­e on Robinwood Place.
