The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

1:17 a.m., lost/found property — A backpack found in front of a Sylva Lane medical office was booked for safe-keeping at the police department.

7:11 a.m., public peace/ fight/disorderly conduct — A man yelled in front of a Stockton Road business then paced back and forth in front of the entrance.

9:34 a.m., vandalism/property damage — Someone cut the rag top of a vehicle parked on South Barretta Street.

11:48 a.m., public peace/ fight/disorderly conduct — A South Washington Street hotel employee said a man and woman were arguing in a room and the argument was getting louder. An officer found a woman alone in the room who said she was having problems with the TV volume.

1:10 p.m., lost/found property — A camera found at a South Washington Street business was booked for safe-keeping at the police department.

1:52 p.m., vehicle theft — A woman said her vehicle, which contained two car seats and a stroller for her children, was stolen when she was in a South Washington Street eatery getting sandwiches and she saw it driving through a parking lot headed toward Mono Way. The car was later found about 7 p.m. off of Mark Twain Drive in Twain Harte.

2:08 p.m., theft — A man said a firearm was stolen out of his vehicle when it was parked on South Washington Street.

6:29 p.m., lost/found property — A man’s wallet found on the lawn of a West Sunset property was booked for safekeepin­g at the police department.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:59 a.m., Sonora area — Two vehicles were traveling a high speed on Highway 108 near Argyle Road.

10:10 a.m., Sonora area — Fuel lines were cut on a delivery truck parked at a Tuolumne Road business. Water lines to the business also were cut.

10:26 a.m., Soulsbyvil­le — Soulsbyvil­le Elementary School was vandalized.

11:44 a.m., East Sonora — A Mono Way business owner said he has a flash drive with footage of a suspect in a jewelry theft ring.

12:16 p.m., East Sonora — A woman’s purse was stolen while she was in a Mono Way thrift store.

2:17 p.m., East Sonora — Someone was arrested after reports of suspicious circumstan­ces at a Mono Way business.

2:20 p.m., East Sonora — Someone assaulted a person and stole paperwork at a Susan Way property.

3:27 p.m., Twain Harte — A package was stolen from a Lakewood Drive mailbox.

3:46 p.m., Twain Harte — A live power line was down on East Avenue.

6:55 p.m., Sonora area — A person stood outside a Cuesta Court business with a gun.

8:01 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said people on her Peppermint Circle property had beat her up and wouldn’t let her into her home. An arrest was made.

9:58 p.m., East Sonora — An arrest was made after a report of a fight at a Mono Way hotel.

10:55 p.m., Soulsbyvil­le — A woman said her unlocked car was “gone through” while parked at her place of work on Soulsbyvil­le Road.

11:16 p.m., Soulsbyvil­le — An elderly Sherry Lane woman said a woman “just ran through her house and ran out the back door.”

9:38 p.m., Jamestown — Amber Rae Powell, 43, of the 9000 block of Peppermint Circle, was booked on suspicion of force or assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm/great bodily injury likely and willful infliction of corporal injury to a spouse/cohabitant/child’s parent after an arrest at her home.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

12:23 p.m., Avery — A Highway 4 property was burglarize­d.

2 p.m., San Andreas — A disturbanc­e was reported at a Nielsen Street property.

2:49 p.m., San Andreas — A prescripti­on was stolen from a Wimbledon Drive mailbox.

10:08 p.m., Arnold — A disturbanc­e was reported at a Thunderbol­t Trail property.
