Mary Elizabeth Longeway passed away in her Pittsburg, California, home on Oct. 3.

Mary is predeceased by her father, Louis Miller, and mother, Viola Simms. Mary leaves behind her loving husband, Michael Lloyd Longeway; her daughter, Lia Marie Grant; granddaughters, Camisha Sequan Russell, Shamaine Lenee Mangram and Ashley Marie Howell; grandson, Anthony Lewis Grant Jr.; greatgrandsons Jalen Wesley Mangram, Omari Makai Mangram and Channing Christopher Russell; great- granddaughters Nevaeh Aaliyah Billings, Sanee Amara Mangram and Ashton Marie-anu Kennedy; and sons Jesse Michael Longeway, Victor Warren Longeway and Larry “Adam” Longeway.

A service of remembrance was held Thursday, Oct. 7, at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home.

LONGEWAY — Former Tuolumne County resident Mary Elizabeth Longeway, 81, died Sunday, Oct. 3, at her home in Pittsburg, Contra Costa County. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Sonora. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
