TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

6:14 a.m., theft — A man and a woman were caught on video while they left a business on Mono Way with $1,000 worth of merchandis­e.

12:11 p.m., fire call — An arrest was made at an encampment on Stockton Road for a vegetation fire that occurred near a business.

2:23 p.m., animal complaint — A woman on Lower Sunset Drive said a black and tan Doberman and a gray and white pit bull mix tried to attack her neighbor.

3:02 p.m., reckless driving — Someone said a woman with “fuzzy blonde hair” swerved all over Mono Way and nearly struck two cars before almost running a car off the road.

6:56 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone said a woman in a beanie, rain boots and hair in a ponytail took their cardboard boxes and set up a camp between two businesses on Mono Way. An officer issued a trespass notice.

8:24 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman was formally trespassed from an eatery on Mono Way after she cussed and attempted to throw food at an employee while in the drive-through.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:18 p.m., Sonora — Someone found “a ton of mail including open Amazon packages” over an embankment near a business at Eagle Ridge Drive and Eagle Landing.

10:05 a.m., Columbia — Someone said a person was in a “slumped position” in an older SUV at a business on Parrots Ferry Road.

10:34 a.m., Jamestown — Someone said the driver of a lifted silver Dodge Ram with driver’s side damage crossed the double yellow lines and nearly caused accidents at Highway 108 and Green Springs Road.

11:01 a.m., Groveland — Someone said an “extremely intoxicate­d” patient was leaving a medical office in a vehicle on Highway 120.

11:05 a.m., Columbia — A woman said a statue was stolen from her porch on Green Street.

2:35 p.m., Sonora — A man said his neighbor’s dog charged his son but he was able to “scare it off” on Racetrack Road.

4:55 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone said their wallet was stolen at a business on Tuolumne Road North and several items were missing after it was found and returned by security..

5:15 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman said she was in a fight in the parking garage of a business on Tuolumne Road North.

5:44 p.m., Groveland — Tammy S. Laeng, 55, of the 18000 block of El Capitan Way, was booked after an arrest at Black Road and Highway 120.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

6:09 a.m., Angels Camp — A person was taken to a hospital after a report of suspicious circumstan­ces occurred on Highway 49.

9:32 a.m., San Andreas — An Old Oak Road property was burglarize­d

9:44 a.m., Jenny Lind — Mail was stolen on Warren Road.

2:23 p.m., San Andreas — A report was taken for a suspicious parked vehicle on Lewis Avenue.

2:45 p.m., San Andreas — Oscar Coyote Freer, 36, of the 6000 block of Fricot City Road, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant/ date, after an arrest on Lewis Avenue.
