Susan Francis Hembree
1933 — 2021
bree passed away on Oct. 10, 2021, at her home, surrounded by family.
Susan was born in Sacramento and grew up in the San Francisco area until moving to Sonora, where she attended High School. She then met her loving husband of 69 years, James Robert Hembree.
Susan was an avid reader, banker, professional dollmaker, and entrepreneur. She was a longstanding Mother Lode Doll Club member and an original member of Adventist Health Cardiac Rehab Exercise Class. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She loved to laugh, was witty, kind, intelligent, and an incredible human being.
In addition to her husband, James, Susan is survived by her children, Bob Hembree and Karen (Tom) Mihok; 15 grandchildren; multiple great- and greatgreat-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her brother, Frank William Bachelor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benson Ferguson Bachelor and Grace Irene Bachelor; son Donald George Hembree; and sisters, Barbara Kiani and Benita Vanrooy.
A celebration of life will be scheduled in October. Memorial donations may be made to Adventist Health Hospice and Adventist Health Sonora Cardiac Rehabilitation.

PARSONS — Danny Allison Parsons, 73, of Big Oak Flat, died Tuesday, April 26, at Adventist Health Sonora. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 9, at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, 225 E. Rose at Lyons Street, in
Sonora. A graveside service with military honors will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, 13000 Memorial Drive in Groveland. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
