Confederacy rising

To the Editor:

It was great while it lasted. However, it is looking more like “The Great American Experiment” — aka democracy — is dead. We are well on our way to becoming a confederacy.

It was not stolen from you, you gave it away.

Can you get it back? I doubt it, but it is up to you to at least try.

It all started back in the early '80s, when the middle class lost its vision and its voice. The American workers were led to believe they must be individualists, every man for himself. (Yes, “men” — women are not part of their plan.)

You were led to believe that poor folks (of color — not the white middle class working

poor) were going to cause a “transfer of wealth,” — take your money and jobs. That dreaded “transfer of wealth” did occur — however, all “your” money is now “their” money.

Bottom line: The wannabe president of the “confederate states” provoked his cult to invade our nation's Capitol. They planned an assassination of our vice president and House speaker. By stealing documents, they would steal the election and throw the country into chaos.

Their confederacy is now passing laws to deprive many true Americans of their right to vote. We recently learned they intend to take control of your right to determine when you have children, who can impregnate any woman, if you can use contraceptives, and how large your family must be.

And yes, there is a “what's next” for their confederacy — slavery, love and marriage, who votes, and any other freedom we have gained over the last 150 years.

How do we save the United States of America? Indict, try, convict and jail the Donald John Trump crime family. Then vote!
