The Sonora Police Department reported the following: MONDAY
2:47 a.m., traffic accident
— A man on Theall Street said the side mirror on his vehicle was “smashed in.”
7:48 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man with a scruffy beard wearing baggy tan pants and a baggy gray hoodie looked into vehicles on South Washington Street. An officer advised him of the complaint and he left the area.
9:55 a.m., trespass/loiter — Someone on North Washington Street said bags of clothing were left in a business carport for about two weeks.
10:55 a.m., animal complaint — A woman on North Arbona Circle said a Chihuahua-mix dog with a blue collar but no tags wandered into her yard. The dog left before an officer arrived.
12:10 p.m., weapons violations — Someone on Old Wards Ferry Road said a man wearing tan shorts and a white shirt had a rifle with a scope attached to his backpack. Officers determined it was a pellet rifle.
1:04 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said her wallet was taken from her shopping cart when she bent down to look in the freezer section at a business on Sanguinetti Road. The wallet was found, and an officer determined there was no theft.
1:09 p.m., weapons violations — Sheriff’s deputies responded to multiple calls for a man in tan shorts and a white shirt who carried a backpack with a rifle on South Washington Street.
3:04 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Someone on Greenley Road said a bald man in glasses yelled in front of the library while children were present.
8:45 p.m., trespass/loiter — Someone at a business on Sanguinetti Road flagged down an officer to remove and trespass a man from a restroom.
10:22 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — An officer issued a formal trespass notice to a man who yelled at people on South Washington Street.
10:55 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A man yelled, screamed, banged on something and broke a front window at a business on South Washington Street.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

1:51 a.m., Tuolumne — A man said he lost his wallet at a business on Tuolumne Road North, and someone found it and removed the cash.
8:16 a.m., Jamestown — Someone said a person under the influence of drugs went through the trash and acted strangely on Seventh Street.
9:15 a.m., Columbia — Someone requested a welfare check on an elderly woman who was walking with a walker on northbound Parrotts Ferry Road near Damin Road.
9:42 a.m., Jamestown — Someone at Highway 108 and Tulloch Road said a tan 2016 Chevy pickup passed them and cut them off, continued on at a high rate of speed and cut off another driver.
10:24 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone said a man in his 50s in a black T-shirt and tan pants threatened them at a Joaquin Gully Road business.
10:25 a.m., Soulsbyville — Neighbors fought with people in a silver Bronco on Adams Court.
10:27 a.m., Soulsbyville — Someone on Willow Springs Drive said a man in a newer mid-size SUV drove quickly into their circular driveway and, when they told him not to speed, the man got out of his vehicle and challenged them to fight.
11:00 a.m., Sonora — Medication was stolen from a Susan Way residence.
11:10 a.m., Groveland — A woman on Hondo Court said a man who was picked up by someone in a dark vehicle late in the night had told her he would see her the next day and has been gone for about four weeks.
11:14 a.m., Sonora — Someone on Nugget Boulevard said people camped in a black Honda minivan in the parking lot of the Tuolumne Utilities District office.
11:15 a.m., Chinese Camp — Someone defecated in the lobby of the U.S. Post Office on Red Hills Road.
11:41 a.m., Sonora — Someone on Saddle Court said their neighbor threatened them.
2:06 p.m., Jamestown — A report was taken for a black backpack containing medication that was stolen at Rocca Park.
7:16 p.m., Jamestown — Someone on Fallen Leaf Drive said their neighbor burned trash.
10:23 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone on Fir Avenue said a neighbor burned things in the alley and there were “sparks flying.”

1:31 a.m., Columbia — Aaron Ryan Hiemforth, 38, of the 22000 block of Airport Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant after an arrest at his home.
5:20 p.m., Jamestown — Lili Elizabeth Shirlene Powell, 30, of the 200 block of June Street, was booked on suspicion of corporal punishment or injury to a child after an arrest on Cedar Road.
10:41 p.m., Tuolumne — Douglas Thomas Porter Jr., 36, of the 20000 block of Tuolumne Road, was booked on suspicion of evading a peace officer with wanton disregard for safety and multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants after an arrest on Buchanan Road.

8:25 a.m., Valley Springs — A Silver Rapids Road property was burglarized.
8:40 a.m., Valley Springs — A report was taken for suspicious circumstances on Greer Way.
9:46 a.m., Murphys — Someone was assaulted on Wylderidge Drive.
10:29 a.m., Paloma — A report was taken for a disturbance on Main Street.
11:07 a.m., West Point — A report was taken for suspicious circumstances on Bald Mountain Road.
2:37 p.m., Wallace — Someone trespassed at a Bollea Road property.
