Gene Caroline (Rowe) Clark

Former Tuttletown resident Gene Caroline (Rowe) Clark, of Stockton, passed away on May 15, 2022, at a board and care facility in Lodi. She was 95 years old.

Gene was born in Jamestown to Byron and Nellie Rowe. They lived in Tuttletown, where Gene went to Tuttletown Grammar School. She attended Delta College and loved college so much that she attended there again in her 90s. Gene enjoyed camping, hiking and cross country skiing. She was an artist and spent time in Yosemite. She toured Europe and lived in Germany for five years. Gene married Charlie Clark and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad until her retirement.

Gene was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; and her siblings, Ethel, Henry, Byron Jr. and Nellie. She is survived by her cousins, Sharon Crook and Faye Choate; two nieces and four nephews.

There will be no service. Gene will be buried in Columbia Cemetery in the Rowe family plot.

RAMSGARD — Steven Werner Ramsgard, 65, died Friday, May 13, at his home in Sonora. Cremation is planned, and inurnment will be at Mountain Shadow Cemetery. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

WILLMES — Nancy Ann Willmes, 59, died Sunday, May 15, at her home in Tuolumne. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, 225 E. Rose in Sonora. Graveside services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at Carter’s Cemetery in Tuolumne. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

YUSKIW — John Paul Yuskiw Jr., 67, of Soulsbyville, died Saturday, May 14, at The Meadow Assisted Living in Elk Grove. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
