TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

3:21 a.m., public peace/ fight/disorderly conduct — A Nevada Street caller heard two women arguing loudly, and an officer who responded saw two people run behind a house and hop a fence.

6:02 a.m., burglary — A Shaws Flat Road resident said someone was in her room when she woke up, and they ran away when she said she saw them. She later noticed a statue had been thrown through a window.

8:13 a.m., graffiti — Someone put graffiti on the door of a women’s restroom at Woods Creek Rotary Park on Woods Creek Drive.

9:07 a.m., fraudulent activities — Someone from a business on Morning Star Drive said an email account was hacked and they were “experienci­ng financial loss through customer accounts.”

12:05 p.m., animal complaints — Two people called to report two dogs loose in the Coffill Park area. The dogs were found and taken to Tuolumne County Animal Control.

1:23 p.m., theft — Mail was stolen on South Shepherd Street.

2:03 p.m., lost/found property — A backpack left in a Cemetery Lane yard was retrieved by an officer.

2:38 p.m., threats — A caller said they were threatened by someone while running in the Morning Star Drive area.

4:22 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A Gerrymande­r Avenue caller said a female neighbor threatened a tree-cutting crew with what appeared to be a rifle. When officers arrived, the woman refused to answer her door. Officers eventually contacted the woman and her son and determined the rifle was actually a BB gun.

5:16 p.m., animal complaints — A Nevada Street resident requested advice on how to surrender his dog, who he said keeps escaping and attacking family members.

7:27 p.m., animal complaints — Someone said an aggressive dog with a purple collar was seen headed behind apartments on Hospital Road. An officer found the dog and its owner, whom he admonished.

8:56 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A caller said a black Hyundai Santa Fe was parked in a South Washington Street car lot and had been left running with all the windows rolled down and nobody around. Officers determined there was nothing suspicious, locked the car and booked the key into the found property locker at the station.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:16 a.m., Sonora — A report for abuse was taken at a Standard Road school.

8:38 a.m., Sonora — A Covey Circle caller reported seeing flames near a palm tree on a nearby ridge.

11:04 a.m., Sonora — A caller said someone was behaving erraticall­y, running up and down a hill along Highway 108 at Sanguinett­i Road and kicking rocks at vehicles.

11:15 a.m., Columbia — A cow was in the middle of Parrotts Ferry Road.

12:11 a.m., Sonora — Mailboxes were vandalized on Cadenza Drive.

1:28 p.m., Sonora — A report for assault was taken at a Greenley Road medical facility.

2:31 p.m., Sonora — A paint sprayer valued at $800 was stolen from a Camage Avenue property.

2:46 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said they heard someone scream for someone to call 911 in the Sixth Avenue area.

5:57 p.m., Sonora — Justin Wells Mildenberg­er, 37, of the 21000 block of Diablo Court, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury to a spouse/ cohabitant/child’s parent and misdemeano­r child abuse without great bodily injury/ death and a misdemeano­r warrant after an arrest at his home.

11:11 p.m., Jamestown — Freddy Cedeno Gonzalez, 35, address not given, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant/date and a misdemeano­r warrant after an arrest on the 17000 block of Seco Street.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:05 a.m., Campo Seco — A Paloma Road resident said someone had been staying in a vehicle parked nearby for several days.

10:58 a.m., Valley Springs — A man was arrested after a Rose Street resident said a man opened a door to their home, left when told to, but then tried to get into a vehicle on the property.
