They joined the local Harley Club and once spent two months riding across the USA, enjoying the natural wonders of America. Joyce became a member of the local Red Hats and the Tuolumne Garden Club, devoting many years as president.

Joyce’s golden years were lovingly spent hosting her five grandchildren for a month every summer for “Nana Camp,” creating countless memories for her family. In her later years, she moved to Modesto and enjoyed many friendships and experiences in her new home. Joyce had six greatgrandchildren whom she cherished and adored. She also loved to visit Mexico, where she enjoyed a few margaritas!
