The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

8:51 a.m., public peace/ fight/disorderly conduct — A motorist who gave someone a ride from the Tuolumne area said the passenger caused such a disturbanc­e that they pulled over and told him to get out at an Old Wards Ferry Road business, which he did. In the process, the motorist was locked out of the running vehicle, which had a dog inside.

1:33 p.m., public intoxicati­on — A man was arrested for public intoxicati­on after entering a Mono Way store, spilling vodka on the floor and trying to put on a pair of brown overalls in the store’s clothing department.

3:30 p.m., reckless driving — A man was driving his vehicle erraticall­y and speeding on Mono Way.

4:07 p.m., school assists — A parent called a Greenley Road school and said a sixthgrade student had a gun in his backpack that he showed to other students. An officer determined the gun was a toy and it was confiscate­d.

4:13 p.m., animal complaints — A brown dog and a brown puppy were loose in a parking lot on Morning Star Drive. The dogs ran off before officers arrived.

6:11 p.m., trespass/loiter

— A person threatened to beat up staff at a Mono Way pharmacy.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY 4:25 a.m., Tuolumne — Snow chains were stolen off of a vehicle parked at a Tuolumne Road North business.

9:49 a.m., Columbia — A big rig blocked Big Hill Road near Shale Rock Road.

10:35 a.m., Groveland — Several trees were down in the area of Clinton Road near Ferretti Road.

10:59 a.m., Sonora — A big rig was stuck in the middle of Buckhorn Grade on Tuolumne Road, and other vehicles were sliding.

1:56 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone South Fork was Road. assaulted on

2:29 p.m., Sonora — Something was stolen from a Black Oak Road property.

3:27 p.m., Sonora — People fought on Wards Ferry Road.

3:59 p.m., Tuolumne — Cover’s Apple Ranch on Cherokee Road was vandalized.

6:55 p.m., Twain Harte — The chimney of a Franco Lane residence caught on fire.

10:11 p.m., Sonora — People fought on Bergel Road.

10:29 p.m., Tuolumne —

Residents on Madrone and Cedar streets reported a house fire.

1:30 p.m., Jamestown — Scott Allen Jordan, 61, of the 20000 block of Sommette Drive, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of bringing drugs or alcohol in to a prison after an arrest at Sierra Conservati­on Center on O’byrnes Ferry Road.

MONDAY 7:41 a.m., San Andreas — A Pope Street property was burglarize­d.

7:45 a.m., Valley Springs — A Highway 26 property was burglarize­d.

8:44 a.m., San Andreas — A Sunset Street property was burglarize­d.

8:56 a.m., San Andreas — A Sunset Street property was burglarize­d.

11:11 a.m., Vallecito — A Highway 4 property was burglarize­d.

1:10 p.m., Wallace — A Goshawk Court property was burglarize­d.

1:52 p.m., Valley Springs

— Something was stolen from a Cane Lane property.

2:06 p.m., Wallace — A prowler was seen on Highway 12.

2:50 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone trespassed on a Berkesey Drive property.

3:25 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A South Main Street property was vandalized.

9:22 p.m., San Andreas — A prowler was seen on Church Hill Road.

10:07 p.m., San Andreas — A suspicious person was seen on Sunset Street.
