The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

6:32 a.m., warrant arrests — A man on the front porch of a vacant building on South Stewart Street was arrested and booked into jail on local felony warrant.

12:21 p.m., hazardous situation — A flatbed delivery truck got stuck on East Lyons Street.

4:14 p.m., public intoxicati­on — A juvenile female student left a North Washington Street high school while intoxicate­d and was last seen walking toward the Red Church. She was arrested and released to juvenile hall on suspicion of public intoxicati­on.

7:09 p.m., parking — A caller said a silver sedan was parked and blocking the cart corral at a Stockton Road store. An officer contacted the vehicle’s owner who said it was an electric vehicle and her battery had died. The woman’s husband arrived and helped move the vehicle.

8:33 p.m., hazardous situation — A caller said there appeared to be sparks coming from the light on a telephone pole at Cowan and North Stewart streets, but an officer checked and didn’t see any sparks.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

7:09 a.m., East Sonora — Something was stolen at Tuolumne Utilities District on Nugget Boulevard.

7:57 a.m., Columbia — Cows were loose in the road at Parrotts Ferryroad and Howser Lane.

11:02 a.m., Sonora — A goat was on the train tracks at

Campo Seco Road and Railway Lane.

11:04 a.m., Jamestown — Tools were stolen on Preston Lane.

12:29 p.m., Columbia — Property was vandalized on Columbia Village Drive.

9:05 p.m., East Sonora — Clogged drainage on Highway 108 near Via Este was causing severe flooding.

9:56 p.m., Soulsbyvil­le — A Mount Hope Lane resident said her roof was suddenly leaking severely.

9:55 a.m., Campo Seco — A report was taken for identity theft on Watertown Road.

2:44 p.m., Valley Springs — A report was taken for contributi­ng to the delinquenc­y of a minor on California Street.
