The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:02 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A resident of a Greenley Road apartment said he found a bloody tissue in his trash and believed someone entered his apartment during the night. An officer found no signs of forced entry.

12:02 p.m., trespass/loiter — An employee of a Sanguinett­i Road store requested the prosecutio­n of a person who had previously been formally trespassed and entered the store anyway.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY 8:38 a.m., Sonora —

Someone trespassed at a Mono Way property.

9:04 a.m., Yosemite area — A jackknifed big rig blocked Evergreen Road near Highway 120.

9:26 a.m., Jamestown — A Donovan Street resident said someone was sleeping and littering at a nearby cemetery.

10:37 a.m., Twain Harte — A caller said a house on South Fork Road “fell off the hill.”

11:06 a.m., Sonora — Someone “dumped” more than a dozen 5-gallon buckets containing hazardous materials on the side of Old Wards Ferry Road.

11:33 a.m., Twain Harte — Sink holes were found on Italian Bar Road near Jupiter.

12:26 p.m., Tuolumne — Phone lines were hanging low near the intersecti­on of Ponderosa Way and Gerber Road.

2:09 p.m., Sonora — A Gopher Drive resident said the neighbors garage exploded, and they didn’t know if anyone was home.

3:09 p.m., Jamestown — A Mountain Vista Court caller said someone stole a generator sometime since January.

4:23 p.m., Groveland — The chimney and roof of a Cottonwood Street residence caught fire.

5:44 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a black tanker car on a Sierra Railroad train was “bouncing around, possibly off the track” at Seco Street and Jim Brady Road.

5:47 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said an oil car of a Sierra Railroad train was “being dragged” at Seco Street and Jim Brady Road, and “no one seems to be controllin­g the engine car.”

5:49 p.m., Jamestown — A mailbox was stolen on Klein Street.

6:35 p.m., Sonora — A man said horses were loose on Wards Ferry Road near Booker Road. He called back at 6:45 p.m. to say he was able to corral the horses, and the owner was there to retrieve them.

8:02 p.m., Tuolumne — A flag in front of a Carter Street residence caught fire.
