The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

2:48 p.m., public intoxicati­on — A man who was found unresponsi­ve behind a South Washington Street business was booked on a charge of being drunk in public.

9:06 p.m., fraudulent activities — An employee of a Stockton Road store was given a fake ID from a blackhaire­d woman who was trying to buy liquor.

9:33 p.m., trespass/loiter — An officer admonished a man wearing all black with red shoes who trespassed at a Sanguinett­i Road business.

SATURDAY

6:46 a.m., weapons violations — An anonymous caller heard what sounded like an M-80 or a single shot from a shotgun in the Morning Star Drive area, then saw someone walking around with a flashlight on an access road. An officer was unable to locate anybody at the scene.

9:56 a.m., theft — A tall person wearing all black took electronic­s from a Mono Way store without paying for them.

2:43 p.m., theft — Two men and a woman took alcohol from a South Washington Street grocery store without paying.

11:39 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man in a black puffy jacket carrying a black backpack trespassed at a Sanguinett­i Road store, and the store wanted to prosecute. An officer was unable to find the man.

SUNDAY

12:43 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man and woman were seen “acting very strange” at a Sanguinett­i Road grocery store, and the woman said she needed help. An officer contacted the woman, who said she has manic episodes.

1:54 a.m., public peace/

fight/disorderly conduct — A drunk man with curly black hair threatened to beat up a cashier at a Pesce Way convenienc­e store after being asked to leave the business, and the cashier believed the man had a weapon. Officers contacted the man, who then left with a sober driver.

4:32 p.m., fraudulent activities — An East Bald Mountain Road resident said he met a woman online who requested that he and she trade “sensitive material.” After the man sent her the material, she told him to send money on gift cards or she would post the material online.

8:53 a.m., Groveland — A suspicious person was seen at a Main Street market.

9:57 a.m., Sonora — A Smokey River Drive resident said his children were missing.

10:43 a.m., Sonora — Someone was arrested after an officer saw a suspicious vehicle on Bergel Road.

10:56 a.m., Jamestown — A woman left trash and harassed residents of a 10th Street neighborho­od.

11:34 a.m., Columbia — People fought on South Airport Road.

1:52 p.m., Columbia — Something was stolen from a Forest Road 3N03 property.

2:55 p.m., Sonora — Someone trespassed at a Mono Way property.

3:45 p.m., Tuolumne —

North Tuolumne Road was partially

closed due to a “sink-hole type issue.”

4:39 p.m., Columbia — Someone was threatened on Dondero Road.

6:25 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone trespassed at a Joaquin Gully road tavern.

1:03 a.m., Tuolumne — Something was stolen at a Tuolumne Road North business.

1:54 a.m., Chinese Camp — Something was stolen from Sierra Pacific Industries on Perricone Road.

10:41 a.m., Groveland — Someone was threatened on Merrell Road.

11:51 a.m., Soulsbyvil­le — The engine of a county transit bus caught fire on Highway 108 east of Soulsbyvil­le Road while 10-15 passengers stood outside.

1:39 p.m., Sonora — Someone tried to assault another person at a Phoenix Lake Road mobile home park.

2:50 p.mjamestown — Someone stole a package from a Willow Street property.

4:09 p.m., Sonora — An Oak Tree Lane resident requested permission to kill a fox that appeared to have distemper.

4:57 p.m., Sonora — A resident of a Phoenix Lake Road mobile home park said kids were riding bikes unsafely.

5:01 p.m, Columbia — Someone was arrested after indecently exposing themselves on Rattlesnak­e Gulch.

7:44 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A School Street resident said friends borrowed her car the day before to take their dog to the veterinari­an and didn’t return it.

2:11 a.m., Sonora — Someone was cited after a report of suspicious circumstan­ces at a Lolly Lane apartment complex.

9:26 a.m., Jamestown — A cow was loose on Campo Seco Road.

1:53 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller said a vehicle had been parked near the intersecti­on of Silver Spur Drive and Yosemite Road with the windows fogged up and a tow chain attached to it for two or three days.

3:42 p.m., Sonora — A tree blocked part of Valley Oak Drive.

4:32 p.m., Sonora — A Peaceful Oak Road resident said there was a rabid fox on her property.

11:27 p.m., Jamestown — A Wigwam Road mobile home park resident said someone was setting off fireworks, and that about 15 people were living in their cars in the area.

11:58 p.m., Sonora — A Wards Ferry Road resident said her dog ate some edibles. She was advised to contact her veterinari­an.
