The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

10:53 a.m., animal complaints — A brown pit bull running loose in the Terzich parking structure on Washington Street was returned to its owner.

11:20 a.m., animal complaints — A sick racoon was seen at a Sylva Lane business complex.

12:15 p.m., vehicle theft — A vehicle was stolen from Tuolumne County Behavioral Health on Hospital Road.

2:27 p.m., animal complaints — An Alpine Lane resident found an older golden Labrador retriever and kept it inside until the owner could pick it up. The dog’s owner was cited for not having control of the pet.

4:35 p.m., assault — A caller said a man with a cane and glasses knocked down another man on Sanguinett­i Road.

6:39 p.m., miscellane­ous harassment — A woman at a South Washington Street business said a man came into the store and made her uncomforta­ble with the comments he was making.

6:50 p.m., parking — A caller said a balding man in a white shirt who parked his car illegally at a South Washington Street business appeared “unstable” and talked to himself as he walked to a nearby business. Officers were unable to find the man.

7:27 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A woman with curly brown hair was acting suspicious­ly and scaring customers at a Mono Way laundromat.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following: WEDNESDAY

6:33 a.m., Sonora — Someone was threatened at a Lolly Lane apartment complex.

8:07 a.m., Soulsbyvil­le — Someone was arrested after people fought on Clouds Rest.

9:40 a.m., Jamestown — A Preston Lane property was vandalized.

10:48 a.m., Columbia — A caller said someone was actively dumping trash on a South Airport Road property. The person dumping trash was gone when deputies arrived.

12:18 p.m., Jamestown — Deputies assisted Child Welfare Services with a call on Maple Alley.

2:11 p.m., Sonora — Someone trespassed at a Mono Way fast-food restaurant.

2:39 p.m., Twain Harte — A Towhee Lane resident said someone is putting trash in her driveway.

3:17 p.m., La Grange — People fought on La Grange Road.

5:38 p.m., Tuolumne — A juvenile was reported missing from Mother Lode Christian School on Gardner Avenue.

7:22 p.m., Mi-wuk Village — A caller said they thought “there may be a fire” at a Highway 108 bar, then said the fire “may be going out.”

10:03 p.m., Jamestown — Haleigh Jo Ann Torres, 35, of the 16000 block of Sallander Drive, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 at Wigwam Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:08 a.m., Valley Springs — Something was stolen from a Highway 26 property.

12:26 a.m., West Point — Someone caused a disturbanc­e on Stanley Road.

8:02 a.m., Valley Springs — A person was admonished for sleeping on the front porch of a Highway 12 property.

11:58 p.m., West Point — A caller said people on quads were at a vacant residence on Winton Road. The people were gone when a deputy arrived.

Bradley Erik Johnson, 32, of the 2400 block of Quail Hill Road, was booked after an arrest on Copper Cove Drive east of Little John Road.

5:22 p.m., Valley Springs — Stephen Ray Gibson, 71, of the 8700 block of North Duncan, Linden, was booked after an arrest on Highway 26 west of Shelton Road. Felony bookings:

WEDNESDAY

5 p.m., Angels Camp — Joseph Edward White, 38, of the 100 block of Horseshoe Drive, Hathaway Pines, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/ cohabitant/date after an arrest at an Angels Camp elementary school.
