More Americans, across the political spectrum, want social-media companies regulated. A new poll says 57 percent of respondents, including 69 percent of Republicans, think social media hurts democracy and free speech. The one bright side for the tech industry: 65 percent of those polled think smartphones have made their lives better.

Airport is the best airport in America, according to a new Wall Street Journal study.
The rankings looked at the 20 biggest airports, rated them on categories including security-line wait times, long walks, and Wi-Fi speed. Orlando and Phoenix international airports round out the top three best. The worst: all of metro New York’s airports, with Newark International at absolute bottom, below New York’s Kennedy (19) and LaGuardia (18). New York’s JFK also had the highest average price of any city for a trip to the main convention center, at $67 for an Uber X ride. Las Vegas was the cheapest airport in the U.S. to fly out of, with average fares of $242.

The National Association of Home Builders’ monthly confidence index plummeted 8 points, down to 60, in November, the biggest dip since 2014. Economists had estimated just a 1-point drop. The rating points to a cooling housing market.

The classic role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons is having its moment. It had 8.6 million players last year, and even more watched D&D games in progress on the Twitch streaming service. Games maker Hasbro, which barely noted it for years, has mentioned it in public filings more than 30 times this year.
