American this week eliminated the limit on airplane capacity it set in April, announcing that it would again sell any available places. Delta and Southwest will continue to limit sales and block middle seats until the end of September. Robert Redfield, the director of the CDC, said the agency was “substantially disappointed” with American’s decision.
