Vista wins general excellence from state Press Association
For the second year in a row and the third time in the past four years, The Weekly Vista was named the top medium weekly newspaper in the Arkansas Press Association’s 2016 Better Newspaper Editorial Contest. The association’s meeting was held over the weekend in Bentonville.
In receiving the general excellence award, retired managing editor Tom Throne said he was very excited for The Vista staff.
“It takes a team effort to produce a newspaper and our staff did a great job in covering the community,” he said.
