Village Bible Church

Wednesday, July 13, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragem­ent of friendly volunteers. The 5:30 p.m. dinner will be Nathan’s hot dogs with all the trimmings, plus salad and dessert. Donations will be accepted, and the community is always welcome. The dinner is followed at 6:20 p.m. by singing, devotions and prayer for adults. Activities will also be held for children. Mark and Jodi Revell, missionari­es on staff with EFCA ReachGloba­l, will be special guests this evening and will provide an update about their ministry in Hungary. Nursery for infants and toddlers is available and the community is invited.

Sunday, July 17, Growth Group classes are offered for all ages at 9 a.m. followed by the 10:15 a.m. Worship Service and, of course, the community is warmly welcomed. Pastor Don Moor will bring the message for the Worship Service. Infant and toddler nursery and Children’s Church for kids are offered as well.

Tuesday, July 19, a men’s Bible study led by Dr. Ron Morris will meet at 7 p.m., and men from the community are always welcome. A ladies’ KniTTogeth­er ministry and the White Cross Women’s Mission ministry also meet at 7 p.m. The ladies enjoy informal fellowship while working on projects that benefit needy children and adults in the area as well as a hospital in Congo. This too is open to any ladies who would like to come and learn more about it.

Highlands Church

The JAM Adult Sunday School Class meets every Sunday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Visitors are welcome.

New Life Christian Church, 103 Riordan Road, offers three Sunday services: 8:30, 10 and 11:30 a.m. “What Do You Say About That?” is the title of the summer sermon series at New Life Christian Church. Forest Hills Church

Bella Vista Community Church

Come for worship at 9:30 a.m. Sunday mornings with coffee fellowship before and after the service. Pastor Anna Teel will be preaching Sunday, July 17. The sermon series through July 31 is “Summer in the Psalms.” Adult Bible Study starts at 8 a.m., and a staffed nursery is available as well as Children’s Worship for ages 4-12 during the worship service.

Caregivers’ (All) Support Group has changed their meeting day/ time. Beginning in this month, they will meet the second Wednesday of every month. The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, in the parlor.

The next Newcomers’ Orientatio­n will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, in the parlor. Those who are interested in knowing more about Community Church are invited to attend.

Vacation Bible School will be held July 25-28 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for age 4 through incoming sixth-graders. All children from the community are welcome. Bella Vista Baptist Church

Sunday Morning Services include 8:30 a.m. contempora­ry worship, 9:45 a.m. Bible Study/ Sunday School , 11 a.m. traditiona­l worship and 5 p.m. evening worship in the old sanctuary.

Grief Share, a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experience­s, meets at 3 p.m. Tuesdays in the church conference room. Each session will begin with a lesson from an experience­d counselor and end with discussion with others in the group.

Wednesday evening prayer meeting is held at 5:45 p.m. in the old sanctuary. There are youth activities Wednesdays starting at 6 p.m.
