Lt. Colonel Paul Allen Fox, 79, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 2, 2016. He was born to Horace and Roberta Fox in Byars, Okla., on Sept. 9, 1936.

He graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1958 with a degree in Science and Business. He was also a proud Lt. Colonel in the Air National Guard. Over the years, he held the titles of VP of Sales for Lee Way Trucking Company, CEO of logistics for Yellow Freight and CEO and President of California Hardware, and he was known by colleagues for his sharp negotiatio­n skills. In retirement, he was dedicated to his church, Military Officers Associatio­n of America, and his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Fox; son, Michael Fox; daughter, Margaret Harris; and brother, John David Fox.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Fox; children, Debra Fox, Victoria Fox and Paul Allen Fox Jr. and wife Flo; stepchildr­en Connie Weidert and husband John, Jerry Edwards, and Bill Edwards and wife Laurie; brother-inlaw, Woody Buttery; four grandchild­ren; and six great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation was Friday, Aug. 5, at Presbyteri­an Church of Bella Vista.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 6, at the same location.

An Honor Guard ceremony was held graveside at Bella Vista Cemetery. Pastor David Ritchie officiated.

Anita Lee Riddell

Anita Lee Riddell, 83, died Aug. 1, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. She was born Oct. 14, 1932, in Patterson, Ill., the only daughter of Lela Alice Fry and John Fry.

She attended school in Jacksonvil­le, Ill. She married Raymond Chandler Riddell Aug. 17, 1951, in Anoka, Minn., and they lived almost all of their married life in Minnesota, making their home in Westbrook, Mankato, and Tyler. For the past 25 years, she lived in Bella Vista, Ark. She was a very active member of New Wine Ministry Church and loved being involved in all of the work of her church. She maintained a close relationsh­ip with her Bible Study Group from Minnesota for over 30 years.

She and Ray retired to Bella Vista in 1991. Many of her family moved there to be close to them. She was always there for her family, whether it was moving to Minnesota for the winter to care for a daughter or taking care of any grandchild who needed a place to stay for a night or a year. She and her son, Tyler, were constant companions and always shared a special bond. She loved visiting, good meals, shopping and laughing. That is the memory the family carries - her laughing.

She was preceded in death by husband, Ray Riddell; and granddaugh­ters, Nicole Cessario and Shannon Kirchner.

She is survived by children, Randi Kirchner and husband Lee, Angela Cessario and husband Nick, Tyler Riddell, Cara Riddell and husband Dan, and Mark Riddell; grandchild­ren, John Kirchner, Whitney Riddell, Jacob Riddell, Craig Riddell, Ranae Henson, and Rachel Tolle; and 11 great-grandchild­ren.

L. Robert “Bob” Roseen, 88, a resident of Bella Vista, Ark., died suddenly, Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at home. He was born May 9, 1928 in Joliet, Ill.
