Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista
The church women will host the Presbyterian Women Cluster 1 Fall Gathering on Friday, Aug. 26, at the church. They will start at 8:30 a.m. with registration and finish with a luncheon. The theme is “A Journey to Understanding.” Registration is $10, which includes lunch.
The community is invited to a traditional worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28. Christian Ed classes meet at 8:30 a.m. A nursery attendant is available. New friends are always welcome.
Chancel Choir resumes practice at 7 p.m Wednesday, Aug. 31. New singers are always welcome to join.
The All-Church Picnic will be held at Blowing Springs Park at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 Please sign up at the Information Center with your meat order and indicate the potluck dish that you will bring.
A blood drive will be held in Fellowship Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12 Please sign up to donate. Walk-ins are welcome.
Care and Share of Gravette will have a trailer in the church parking lot Sept. 14-15 to receive donations of good used items for sale in their thrift store.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County
The Unitarian Universalists of Benton County are located at 1110 S.E. Evergreen St. (Little Einstein Montessori School) in Bentonville, near the southeast corner of 14th and J streets. The Sunday service, which begins at 11 a.m., is preceded by coffee and social time beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday, Aug. 28, features a pavilion potluck at the Metfield Recreation Complex on Bella Vista’s east side. In addition to its 23-meter outdoor multiuse swimming pool, amenities include playground equipment, a basketball court, shuffleboard, two tennis courts, three pickleball courts and an 18-hole miniature golf course with several obstacles.
Sunday School is available for children through age 15. A Unitarian Universalist adaptation of Jerome Berryman’s book “Spirit Play” is the primary resource. The morning is structured based on the Montessori approach. As in Montessori, the key elements are the classroom environment and the teachers. These elements free the children to work at their own pace on their own activities after an initial lesson.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
Church choir practice begins at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24.

Village Bible Church
Wednesday, Aug. 24, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers. A potluck fellowship dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the community is always welcome. The dinner is followed at 6:20 p.m. by singing, devotions and prayer for adults. Activities will also be held for children. Don Snipes, the special guest this evening representing Evangelism Explosion, will present “Everyday Evangelism.” Nursery for infants and toddlers is available, and the community is invited.
Sunday, Aug. 28, Growth Group classes are offered for all ages at 9 a.m. followed by the 10:15 a.m. worship service. Pastor Mark Voll will continue his sermon series titled “Peter’s Last Words.” This week’s sermon title is “Remember: Live Well – Finish Strong!” with a text of 2 Peter 3:1-18. Infant and toddler nursery and Children’s Church for kids are offered as well.
Tuesday, Aug. 30, a men’s Bible study led by Dr. Ron Morris will meet at 7 p.m. A ladies’ KniTTogether ministry and the White Cross Women’s Mission ministry also meet at 7 p.m. The ladies enjoy informal fellowship while working on projects that benefit needy children and adults in the area as well as a hospital in Congo.

Unity Church of the Ozarks

New Life Christian Church
New Life Christian Church, 103 Riordan Road, offers three Sunday services: 8:30, 10 and 11:30 a.m. “Jump” is the title of the sermon series. New Life Kids programming for children birth through fifth grade is offered in all three services.
Sign-ups for anyone interested in joining a Life Group will be held Sunday, Aug. 28, before and after service. Life groups are small Bible study groups that meet during the week at various locations and times around the city.
