Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista
The Ladies Birthday Luncheon group will celebrate those having a birthday during this month at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23. Please sign up at the Information Center to learn the location of the luncheon.
The community is invited to a Traditional Worship Service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25. Christian Ed classes meet at 8:30 a.m. A nursery attendant is available. New friends are always welcome.
Food items are collected on the fourth Sunday of each month for Helping Hands Food Pantry in Bentonville. This month, the requested food items are low-sodium canned vegetables. Please place the items on the table in the connector hallway. The Book Club resumes at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in the parlor. The topic will be what you have read this summer. All are welcome. New Wine Ministry
Come celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles Oct. 16-24 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at New Wine Ministry, 2262 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista. There will be guest speakers for all meetings. On Oct. 23-24, the meetings will be held at Word of Life Church, 808 S.W. 14th St. in Bentonville, with Mario Murillo, an international evangelist who is now bringing forth a powerful message on citywide prayer, and Jason Fowler, whose gift of music and worship carries a special anointing for refreshing and refocusing the hearts and minds of the saints toward the Father’s heart.
New Wine Ministry is non-denominational with a mission of perfecting the Body of Christ in all richness of giving, kindness, talents, and resources. New Wine Ministry meets at 5:30 p.m. every Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sundays with Pastor Vincent Xavier ministering the Word. Pastor Patricia Xavier leads a roundtable discussion and a teaching on deliverance at 7 p.m. every Thursday night. Unitarian Universalists
The Unitarian Universalists of Benton County are located at 1110 S.E. Evergreen St. (Little Einstein Montessori School) in Bentonville, near the southeast corner of Southeast 14th and J streets. The Sunday service, which begins at 11 a.m., is preceded by coffee and social time beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday, Sept. 25, in place of the usual Fourth Sunday potluck, UUBC members Ellen Tate and Suzanne Miltich will lead discussion groups on UUA’s 2016 General Assembly meeting and The Dwight Brown Leadership Experience, which was hosted by The Southern Region of the Unitarian Universalist Association in July.
Sunday School is available for children through age 15. A Unitarian Universalist adaptation of Jerome Berryman’s book “Spirit Play” is the primary resource. The morning is structured based on the Montessori approach. As in Montessori, the key elements are the classroom environment and the teachers. These elements free the children to work at their own pace on their own activities after an initial lesson.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church
The Men’s Discipleship Class meets each Monday at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. in the lower level. Park behind the Fellowship Hall and enter through the lower level.

Village Bible Church
Wednesday, Sept. 21, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from
10 a.m. to noon. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers. A potluck fellowship dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., which is followed at 6:20 by singing, devotions and prayer for adults. Activities will also be held for children. Nursery for infants and toddlers is available, and the community is invited.
Thursday, Sept. 22, a Bible study on the book of Matthew taught by Dr. Ron Morris, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Men and women in the community are welcome, and newcomers may join the study at any time.
Sunday, Sept. 25, Growth Group classes are offered for all ages at 9 a.m. followed by the 10:15 a.m. worship service. Pastor Mark Voll will begin a new sermon series titled “The Beginning and the End: Lessons from Genesis.” This week’s sermon title is “Sin: Whose Fault Is It?” with a text of Genesis 3:1-20. Infant and toddler nursery and Children’s Church for kids are offered as well.
Tuesday, Sept. 27, a Ladies’ Bible Study titled “Prayer: Essential to a Fruitful Christian Life,” written and led by Joanne Morris, will be held at 9 a.m.

New Life Christian Church
New Life Christian Church offers
three Sunday services: 8:30, 10 and 11:30 a.m. “James: Faith that Works” is the title of the new message series. New Life Kids programming for children birth through fifth grade is offered in all three services. This includes a high energy worship and large group time, followed by small group lessons.
New Life Students offers separate programming for teens. Seventhand eighth-grade students will meet for “Emerge” from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sundays. “Engage” is designed especially for ninth- through 12th-graders, and they gather on Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. Any teen in the community is welcome to attend.

A six-week study of “40 Days of Love” starts Saturday, Sept. 24. Come and learn how to love more like Jesus. Pastor Bryan will be

Bella Vista Baptist Church
On Sunday, Sept. 25, there will only be an 11 a.m. service. No Sunday School and no 8:30 a.m. service. The church will have Deacon Ordination — a very special day for the church family. Please make plans to attend. The Sunday Evening Service will still take place at 5 p.m. in the old sanctuary.
Grief Share, a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences, meets at 3 p.m. Tuesdays in the church conference room.

Unity Church of the Ozarks
