Monday, Sept. 12

9:56 a.m. A report was received of cattle on the Metfield golf course.

12:24 p.m. Joseph Baldwin, 25, was cited for speeding, driving without a license and no proof of insurance near the intersecti­on of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

1:49 p.m. A 2001 Cadillac Seville was reported sitting on Dickenshir­e Drive for two months with a flat tire.

3:19 p.m. Nathaniel Houchin was arrested near the Branchwood Clubhouse on a felony warrant for two counts of sexual indecency with a child.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

12:10 p.m. A blue Chevrolet sedan was reported driving at high speeds, cutting people off and braking hard on U.S. Highway 71 near the state line.

11:57 p.m. A caller reported that diesel fuel has been taken from his truck twice in the past week on Sheneman Drive.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

3:29 p.m. A white Toyota rolled over near the intersecti­on of Forest Boulevard and Bassingham Drive. There were no injuries.

10:19 p.m. A man was reported sitting on the side of U.S. Highway 71 near the state line. Police gave him a ride home.

Thursday, Sept. 15

4:20 p.m. A burglary was reported on Netherton Lane. There was no sign of forced entry, but a flat screen television and a Playstatio­n 4 were missing from the residence.

7:48 p.m. Marvin Blum, 82, was charged with driving while intoxicate­d after being pulled over near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 340 and Tanyard.

10:31 p.m. Austin Tovani, 25, was arrested in Bentonvill­e on a Bella Vista warrant for obstructin­g government­al operations, criminal trespassin­g and two counts of criminal mischief.

11:36 p.m. A vehicle was reported driving on the golf course near Riordan. Officers discovered the vehicle in question was a golf cart with taillights.

Friday, Sept. 16

3:39 p.m. A vehicle went off the side of the road and into the ditch near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 279 and Bassingham. The vehicle damaged an electric pole.

Saturday, Sept. 17

7:43 a.m. A caller reported seeing a child laying in someone’s lap in an older-model gray sedan. Police were unable to make contact before it crossed the state line.

Sunday, Sept. 18

9:30 a.m. Someone came to check on a home she was house-sitting and found the garage door open. Police found no other signs of trouble.

4:02 p.m. A report was received that a man and woman may have been selling drugs in the Casey’s parking lot on Forrest Hills Boulevard. They left before police arrived.
