Monday, Sept 19

5:47 p.m. A driver was reported drinking beer at the Visitors Center on U.S. Highway 71.

3:23 p.m. A collision between a motorcycle and a truck was reported at U.S. Highway 71 and Riordan Road.

Tuesday, Sept 20

12:11 p.m. A house on Skipton Drive was vandalized. A side window and light fixtures on the rear deck were broken.

7:44 p.m. A group of people were reported trying to get into Wonderland Cave. Police arrived and found a mother and her children searching for Bella Vista rocks.

Wednesday, Sept. 21

5:50 p.m. A sedan rolled over on U.S. Highway 71 near TH Rogers Lumber Co.

Thursday, Sept. 22

7:59 a.m. Someone was reported riding a moped On U.S. Highway 71 at Benton County Road 40, crossing medians and riding erraticall­y in light green shorts, a white helmet and army-colored crocs. The rider also had a black eye.

11:01 a.m. A sick fox was reported near Trafalgar.

5:00 p.m. A counterfei­t $20 bill was received at the Walgreens on Bella Vista Way.

8:21 p.m. A scooter was reported parked sideways in the middle of Leyland Drive, right off Trafalgar. Officers arrived and discovered the vehicle’s owner had a flat tire and got a ride home.

Friday, Sept. 23

2:32 p.m. A beige car drove off Newnham Lane and into the woods because of brake failure.

4:07 p.m. Travis Greenlee, 29, was arrested on a Fayettevil­le warrant during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Riordan and Basildon.

4:41 p.m. A trio of motorcycle­s were reportedly going south from Jane on U.S. Highway 71 doing wheelies and weaving through traffic.

9:00 p.m. Richard Smith, 56, was cited for speeding and driving on a suspended license near Tanyard Creek Pavilion. The suspension was related to a DUI charge.

Saturday Sept. 24

9:29 a.m. Someone found a pistol on Grosvenor and turned it in to police.

5:19 p.m. Joshua Bishop, 19, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant. The original charge was driving without a license.

Sunday, Sept. 25

8:44 p.m. A burglary was reported on Cullen Hills Drive. The residents said they scared the burglar off and he ran out the back door and onto the golf course.
