For the past five years, he and his companion, Lorena Kilgore, have enjoyed living in Mesa during the winter months and Bella Vista during the summer. During his time in Bella Vista and Mesa, he enjoyed golfing. He enjoyed socializin­g and playing cards with friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Clark, Otis Clark, Milo Clark and Lowell Clark.

He is survived by his brother, Dale Clark; his children, Mary Ann Henry, and Thomas Clark, John Clark and Timothy Clark; his grandchild­ren; and great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation and the funeral service were Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at Grace Baptist Church in Rogers with military honors. The Rev. Randy Parks officiated.

Graveside service and interment will be at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 6, 2016, in Madison, Minn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House or your favorite charity.

Marvin T. Dutton Jr.

Marvin Thomas Dutton Jr., 72, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, in his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Boone, Iowa, one of five children born to Marvin Sr. and Jean Dutton.

He was an electrical engineer in Peoria, Ill., most of his life. He retired in 2009 and moved to Bella Vista, where he was a Realtor for Crye-Leike Realtors.

He will be remembered for his wild, made-up stories of time machines, copters without the “heli,” his yacht and his airplane that was always in the shop. He was always fixing something with his “bag of tricks.”

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of 46 years; three children, Shannon Webb and husband Kevin, Chad Dutton and wife Amanda, and Michael Dutton and wife Michele; nine grandchild­ren; two brothers, Bob and Jim; two sisters, Jan and Linda; snd numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A celebratio­n of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, at Bethany of Fox Valley United Methodist Church in Aurora, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Children’s Home Associatio­n of Illinois - Good Beginnings Program or Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e, Ark.

Selmer Ardin Frick

Selmer Ardin Frick, 93, died Sept. 30, 2016. He was born Jan. 26, 1923, in Beresford, S.D., to Carl and Nannie Frick.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune from 1945 to 1946. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He farmed in South Dakota until 1971, when he moved to Bella Vista, Ark., to become a building contractor. He was a deacon in the Bella Vista Baptist Church for years, and was also a member and deacon of Alcester Baptist Church in Alcester, S.D. After retiring, he worked with several volunteer organizati­ons, including Sowers, building and repairing churches, homeless shelters and camps.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Laverne Frick, Dale Frick and Lloyd Frick; and a son, Larry Frick.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Shirley Lounsbery Frick; three children, Lynn Frick and Sally, Mary Armstrong and husband Michael, Paul Frick and wife Tracy; six grandchild­ren; five great-grandchild­ren; three sister-in-laws, Dorothy Frick, Ann Sproul, and Ruth Morud; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, in the chapel of Immanuel Baptist Church, 501 N. Shacklefor­d Road, Little Rock, Ark.
