Mother Nature at Hobbs State Park
Join Mother Nature as she presents “Living Forest” from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct.22.
Animals have lot to tell us. Listen to the stories of a barred owl, deer, spider, bat, blue jays, skunk, a raccoon, an eagle, squirrel and more, personified by costumed Northwest Arkansas Master Naturalists. These educational and meaningful messages will be uncomplicated and easy for young children to understand. Teenagers and adults will learn, too.
Living Forest is for families with members of all ages. Come enjoy the face painting, crafts and free s’mores. Strollers and wagons are welcome as you meander along a wide, paved, barrier-free path. If you want to be like Mother Nature’s animal friends, come in costume.
Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area visitor center is located on Arkansas Highway 12 just east of the War Eagle Road intersection. These events are free. For more information, call 479-7895000.
