AHTD sets roundabout meetings
With the roundabout taking shape as part of the Bella Vista Bypass, two meetings have been scheduled on how to navigate the traffic circle.
The roundabout is where U.S. Highway 71, North Walton Boulevard and Arkansas Highway 549 come t ogether. Traffic on Interstate 49 will not use the roundabout. The Arkansas High- way and Transportation Department meetings will allow people the opportunity to ask questions and share their concerns with the project team.
It is important to note that the roundabout is an interim connection between all the roads. The roundabout will be replaced by a traditional interchange
when the Bella Vista bypass is widened to four lanes.
The meetings, which will be identical in content, are at: • 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov.
15 at Bethel Baptist Church Activity Center, 2907 N. Walton Blvd., in
Bentonville. • 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov.
16 in Grace Hall at Bella Vista Baptist Church, 50 E. Lancashire Blvd., in Bella Vista.
The meetings are open-house style, with a formal presentation beginning at 5:15 p.m.
The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits and ask questions.
