Monday, Oct. 17

1:02 p.m. Tyler Chandler, 28, turned himself in on a warrant for failure to appear in relation to a speeding charge.

4:05 p.m. A Chevrolet half-ton pickup truck towing a 16-foot trailer went about 40 feet off the road alongside Forrest Hills Boulevard.

Tuesday, Oct. 18

3:18 p.m. Yard tools were stolen from a resident’s front porch on Munster Drive. Police set up extra patrols in the neighborho­od.

10:46 p.m. A family on Bromwich Lane reported hearing noises outside. Police found acorns were dropping from a tree near their house.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

8:41 a.m. During the response to an accident on U.S. Highway 71 near Walgreens, police arrested Rex Swanda, 57, on a Gravette warrant for failure to appear in relation to a traffic offense and a Rogers warrant for contempt of court on a traffic offense. Deana Rex, 48, was also arrested at the scene on a Benton County warrant for contempt of court in relation to a family offense.

Thursday, Oct. 20

reported on U.S. Highway 71 northbound. The caller reported that there was a collision between two cars, but a red car turned left off the highway, possibly on Sunset.

Friday, Oct. 21

7:20 p.m. Cynthia Davison, 48, was arrested for driving while intoxicate­d and endangerin­g the welfare of a minor in the third degree during a traffic stop after being called in for swerving all over the road.

Saturday, Oct. 22

8:40 a.m. A jogger in a red shirt and black shorts tried to open someone’s passenger door while they were at the stoplight near the intersecti­on of Forrest Hills Boulevard and Highlands Boulevard.

8:23 p.m. A man was reported exiting a vehicle and throwing a beer can out of the car as he entered the CVS off U.S. Highway 71. Police found he had a designated driver.

Sunday, Oct. 23

8:45 p.m. Police stopped a driver who was swerving all over the road and found that he had a guitar in his lap. The driver was issued a warning.
