Presbyterian Church
An Adult Study Group meets at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, in the parlor. All are welcome.
The community is invited to a traditional worship service at 10 a.m. for the fourth Sunday in Advent. The Chancel Choir and Chancel Bells will present a Christmas choral program during the worship service. Christian Ed classes meet at 8:30 a.m. A nursery attendant is available. New friends are always welcome.
On Sunday, Dec. 18, food items will be collected for the Helping Hands’ food pantry in Bentonville. The requested food item this month is peanut butter, although any food item or monetary donation would be appreciated. The table for donations is located in the connector hallway.
A Candlelight Christmas Eve worship service will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, with Holy Communion being served. Worship on Christmas Day will be at 11 a.m. followed by a Christmas potluck dinner in Fellowship Hall. Please sign up at the Information Center if you plan to attend the dinner.

Unitarian Universalists
The Unitarian Universalists of Benton County meet at 1110 S.E. Evergreen St. (Little Einstein Montessori School) in Bentonville, near the southeast corner of 14th and J streets. The Sunday service, which begins at 11 a.m., is preceded by coffee and social time beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday, Dec. 18, the title of Dr. Jeffrey Tate’s homily is “Would Jesus Celebrate Christmas?”
Sunday School is available for children through age 15. A Unitarian Universalist adaptation of Jerome Berryman’s book “Spirit Play” is the primary resource. The morning is structured based on the Montessori approach. As in Montessori, the key elements are the classroom environment and the teachers. These elements free the children to work
at their own pace on their own activities after an initial lesson.

Village Bible Church
Wednesday, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers. A potluck fellowship dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. At 6:20, there will be singing, devotions and prayer for adults. Activities will also be held for children. Nursery for infants and toddlers is available, and the community is invited.
Friday, Dec. 16, Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will have a blood drive at the church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please call the church at 479-876-5764 if you would like to volunteer to donate blood.
Also on Friday, Dec. 16, at 6:30 p.m., a Community Christmas Carol Sing-along will be held at the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel.

Highland Christian (Disciples of Christ)
Bible Study is at 10 a.m. Wednesday and choir practice is at 4 p.m.
Sunday School, beginning at 9 a.m., offers four adult classes to choose from plus a Creative Worship for children’s ministry. The community is welcome for coffee and snacks in Fellowship Hall from 10 a.m. until worship service at 10:30 a.m.
Highland Christian Church will host their Candlelight Service at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24.
