Monday, Dec. 26

12:48 p.m. Dirt bikes and 4-wheeled ATVs were reportedly on the bike trails near Commonweal­th Road.

5:11 p.m. James Ayers, 68, was arrested and charged with terroristi­c threatenin­g.

11:42 p.m. An egging was reported on Taylor Drive. Police put the area down for additional patrols.

Tuesday, Dec. 27

12:43 a.m. Jay Dawson, 38, was arrested on a felony warrant and charged with possession of a controlled substance near Casey’s General Store on Riordan Road.

8:47 a.m. Randy Murphy, 50, was arrested and charged with careless and prohibited driving and driving while intoxicate­d during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71 near the state line. Murphy was driving a semi with a trailer.

9:15 a.m. Joseph Brusherd, 53, was arrested by Bella Vista police and transferre­d to Rogers police on a Rogers felony warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.

3:24 p.m. Greg Hubbard, 57, was arrested and charged with public intoxicati­on after he was reported sitting at the All In One on Bella Vista Way.

10:48 p.m. Brandon Horton, 22, was arrested on a Springdale warrant during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Mercy Way and Dartmoor.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

6:11 p.m. Shawn Fadling, 46, and Hayley Watkins, 19, were arrested at Casey’s General Store on Riordan Road. Watkins was arrested on charges of public intoxicati­on and possession of alcohol by a minor. Fadling was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug parapherna­lia and contributi­ng to the delinquenc­y of a minor.

11:53 p.m. Heather Murphy, 20, was arrested on a Gravette warrant during a traffic stop.

Thursday, Dec. 29

1:04 p.m. A potentiall­y-rabid groundhog was spotted running in circles at the golf crossing on Dogwood Drive.

4:12 p.m. A Llanon Drive resident heard a gunshot and found a bullet hole in the back door of their vehicle.

7:13 p.m. Brandon Rice, 26, was spotted near Veterans Way and arrested on a Bentonvill­e warrant.

Friday, Dec. 30

5:28 p.m. Someone’s vehicle window was reportedly shot out as they were driving home. Police searched the area near Jack Crabtree Road.

Saturday, Dec. 31

was arrested and charged with careless driving and driving while intoxicate­d after police responded to a suspicious vehicle called in near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Mercy Way.

Sunday, Jan. 1 2017

10:30 p.m. Jason Hughes, 37, was arrested and charged with crossing the center line and driving while intoxicate­d after a caller reported his blue truck driving recklessly near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Trafalgar Road.

3:23 p.m. A Bayhill Lane resident reported a copperhead in his garage. Police arrived to discover an opossum, not a snake. The opossum was removed from the garage and released into the wild.

9:07 p.m. A resident on Laceby Lane reported their vehicle had been egged by people in an older Chevrolet or Ford pickup truck with loud exhaust.
