Mary Virginia Goodwin
Mary Virginia Goodwin, 93, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, in Bella Vista, Ark. She was born Nov. 4, 1923, in Rush Springs, Okla. She was the daughter of Hardy Dee and Grace Green.
In 1942, she married Jess Goodwin in Edmond, Okla. They had two children. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and cooking. She had the gift of hospitality. She was a 42-year member of Bella Vista Baptist Church.
After her husband retired, they began a second career as an independent Shaklee distributor in Bella Vista and Bentonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband a and sister.
Survivors include a son, Gail Goodwin and his wife Kathy of Edmond; a daughter, Kay Goodwin Cartwright and her husband Bob of Bella Vista; four grandchildren, Jeff Goodwin of Edmond, Bryan Goodwin of Austin, Texas, Todd Cartwright of League City, Texas, and Heather Cartwright Doyle of Auburn, Ga.; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at Bella Vista Baptist Church, 50 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista.
Burial will follow at the Bella Vista Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Bella Vista Baptist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Robert Glenn Hughes
Robert Glenn Hughes, 90, of Owasso, Okla., and formerly of Bella Vista, Ark., died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017.
He was a retired Landman for Kerr-McGee.
A private memorial service will be held.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home in Sand Springs, Okla.
Adolph Eddie Janecka
Adolph Eddie Janecka, 85, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at home. He was born on March 3, 1931, in Mineola, N.Y., to Agnes and Adolf Janecka.
He was a Korean War veteran in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Catholic Family Fraternal of Texas - KJZT. Most recently, he was employed by the Bella Vista POA Golf Course for 17 years.
He and his wife, Betty, moved from Dallas to Bella Vista in 1998.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; four children; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mass of the Resurrection will be said at St. Bernard Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.
Memorial may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

Dorla Ann Lauterback
Dorla Ann Lauterback, 65, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at the home. She was born May 18, 1951, in Vincennes, Ind., to William Ray Hesson and Ruth Darlene Hesson.
She worked 25 years for Skil Bosch Corporation in Norfolk, Va. She loved golfing and had recently taken up outdoor bicycling along with exercise bike spinning.
Survivors include her husband, Eddy Lauterback; and a stepson, Jack Lauterback. No services are planned. Cremation arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Theodore ‘Ted’ Christian Redlaczyk
Theodore “Ted” Christian Redlaczyk, 66, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017. He was born May 9, 1950, in Bismarck, N.D., to Ferdinand and Lydia Redlaczyk.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1971. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota, a master’s degree from Western Michigan University and an Educational Specialist degree from The College of William and Mary in Virginia.
His career was in higher-education administration and student services at Kalamazoo College, Virginia Wesleyan College, Midwestern State University, Young Harris College and Texas State University.
He married Janelle Hvidsten June 16, 1984. He was a member of United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista.
In recent years, he suffered from many medical setbacks, which he battled without complaint. He enjoyed working in his shop and yard.
Survivors include his wife, Janelle; a daughter, Claire Redlaczyk; a sister, Barbara Rodocker and husband Terry; two brothers, F.W. Redlaczyk Jr. and wife Suzanne, and Robert Redlaczyk and wife Marcia.
Memorial services were held Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
