Bike Skills Park almost complete
Gus Murray rides at the new Bike Skills Park in the Metfield area of Bella Vista while workers with Aquacrete finish the sides of the pump course. He actually came to work to help his father smooth concrete but spent part of the time on his bike. The park should be completed this week. A pump track, according to teamtowncycle.com, is a continuous loop of berms and smooth dirt mounds called rollers that a person rides without pedaling. The name comes from the pumping motion used by the rider’s upper and lower body while riding around the track.
